I'm a regular customer of this spa where I go almost every week and try new massage type but mostly full body or Thai shampoo. However, I was really disappointed today because of their tipping policy and receptionist who multiple times mentioned to tip while I was tipping with my friend both employees who did massage. We used 30 min each of us and tried Thai shampoo and food massage which was $50 in total. We tipped 12$ each employee who did their job. Every time for 1 hour service I used to tip 20 or 15$ but when you guys made it mandatory ( which is illegal to ask for $15 tip for 40$ servise which is (37% tipping) which is more than 25%. I felt weird emotions. Why you asking to tip by telling " our employees salary based on your tip". Pay your employees yourself and let customer's to decide how much we will tip based on massage quality. It's your job as employer to pay your employees not to ask tipping from customer with mandatory illegal amount. If service is great, I think noone will leave without tip.
Remove that tipping policy that is illegal or make it transparent before service ...
Read more1/10 real review ! I called prior to my appointment. I inquired about a head spa and a massage. The lady told me they shampoo condition steam and blow out hair. I booked it. During the head spa my hair and head was treated extremely rough (I have 4C hair), it was not conditioned and it was not blown out the way the receptionist explained. They put a blower to my hair and moved my hair around. I even bought my own comb and said I will comb my hair and the lady disappeared leaving me there to pay and go. The 30 min full body spa I paid for I only received 23 minutes on my entire back and neck (I recorded the time on my phone to ensure efficient service) I confirmed with receptionist the full body massage would be full body with the exemption of your feet. I did not receive that. I relayed the receptionist my feedback and she apologized and was happy to take my full payment.. It is safe to say I will NOT be returning here. I just thought I should warn the public in case you feel like wasting $95 + a mandatory & demanding tip of $15 per service. There are better and...
Read moreI visited this place about two weeks ago for a head spa and a full-body relaxing massage. The head spa was okay — nothing to rave about, but not terrible either. I also won’t dwell too much on the fact that they insisted on a $15 minimum tip for a one-hour session.
The real problem was the body massage. It was done so aggressively that I was in almost unbearable pain the entire time. By the next day, I began experiencing severe muscle strain and intense pain throughout my back, shoulders, and neck. This discomfort lasted for an entire week, during which I had to rely on a heating pad and multiple ointments just to numb the pain. I couldn’t do much except lie in one position.
I’m not someone who usually complains about services, but I felt it was important to share my experience so others can be aware. If you have any back issues — or simply prefer a gentler approach — I strongly recommend thinking twice before booking a...
