Bay Pkwy — Local services in New York

A well maintained station , accessible from all corners of the intersection Bay Parkway/86th. street. Elevator available from the street level ,located in north east side, in front of TD Bank. 2 elevators available on both side , Manhattan bound & Coney island bound . Seating available in the common waiting area, in front of turnstiles. 24 hour booth available. PA system is available but voice quality not so good . 3 vending machines available. But have issues, most of the times. Either cash only or no receipt or sometimes card not readable. Bus links to B1,B6, B82, B82 Select . Police patrol on station not available 24 hours, cops should be on duty specially night hours . On street police availability any time. Winter storms cleaning is just okay , sometimes they take too long to clean snow...

A Major D Station Stop with transfer to the B1, B82, and B6 buses directly below. However, trains rarely come on time and often either the Manhattan or the Coney Island bound section is closed for repairs which can be a major inconvenience. There's nothing special about this train station, it's overground and only has one train line. If it's cold, I recommend waiting downstairs as there is something to notify you when the train arrives upstairs. However, it still lacks the ability to tell you when trains will...

MTA employees who worked here are very unhelpful. The MTA lady with hijab was very mean. I got off at the wrong stop, I asked her if I could go back in. I can provide details with my MetroCard that I literally just used but she doesn't bother to check. She just shrugged and continued to eat her snack outside the turnstiles. She doesn't want to be bothered at all.

They are so unhelpful and don't serve any purpose at all. The machine tenders all the transactions. I don't know why MTA bother...
