This experience was by far the worst I've ever had. My mother and I visited for wash and set and a perm upon getting there the owner was not present but facetimed an employee so she could see the length of my hair, according to her she must do a deep condition after she perms and that the price would be $55 which I agreed to. She began to perm my hair when her make friend entered the store and from that moment on she was extremely distrated and all she did was talk my hair was not permed properly, her sink was in shambles and completely soaked me, she didn't even have the appropriate rollers for the length of my hair and her make friends were standing over talking about how he shot up some store like that was something to be discussed openly much less in front of a new customer. My hair took forever to dry because the rollers were too small, my hair was completely dried out despite the so called deep condition because the dryer was too high, she put too much oil in my hair so it fell absolutely limp.    Read morePlease do not ever make the mistake of going to this poorly put together place. I went there on a Sunday at 12:30 pm to have a weave installed and I did not leave that wretched place till 8:30pm! What in the world?! I have never in my life met a less skillfully trained group of individuals before. Not only that but there were no more than 3 customers in there at a time and we all had to wait over an hour for simple tasks to be completed (a simple blow dry, braiding, etc.) and if you complained at any given moment you were greeted with an overwhelming bad attitude that can only be summed up as "I know what I'm doing so you should just sit there and wait aimlessly". After all that I had to pay them $260!!!! Horrible, horrible experience! If I could give zero stars I would but unfortunately the minimum is one.
P.S. Notice how they took 3 years to come up with a response to my review (my original post was 6 years ago) & LIED about me coming back? Also, posting excuses on each & every bad review in the way that you are, instead of simply doing better, just proves our points....

Lose the ego, even if it feels like you're being attack or discredited, replying to negative reviews is your chance to redeem the salons image and/or fix the situation. Hostile and impulsive replies only makes matters worse. It doesn't feel good reading poor reviews, but think about the business and what you want to achieve.
