More Than Fries — Restaurant in New York

Oh boy! Where do I began? I placed my order through Uber Eats so I can't speak to the atmosphere hence I gave it the rating of 5. I ordered the Mac & Cheese plain with a Buttermilk chicken sandwich. At best the portions of Mac that was sent to me can be described as a mashed pasta mess!!! Without tasting you can see the pasta was so overcooked added to the weight of the cheese sauce....it was ust a horrible execution!!! Or should I say lack of execution! It was seasoned in away that would remind you of garlicky porkp chops or garlic chicken. Good seasoning but waaayyyyy to much for Mac & Cheese. It almost seems like a purposeful distraction for the piss poor texture of the Mac and cheese. It just wasn't good enough to justify eating the fat and calories. We ended up throwing it away. As for the chicken, the brioche bun was nice and soft, the sauce seems like a mixture of ketchup and mayo (it needs a sauce but this sauce did nothing to elevate the taste). The pickle was basic but the portion size of the chicken was substantial! Where they failed in this delivery was the fact that they sent burned chicken! It was obviously burned when I unwrapped the sandwich. Upon tasting it I could then see the chicken itself was cooked well though underseasoned, but the breading was literally burned. I don't know if it was a temperature thing or if the grease was old but somehow the chicken cooked well but the batter was sacrificed....but what baffles me is the fact that it was still wrapped up and sent out that way. I was able to purchase these products by one get one free. Had a purchased full price I would've been ready to blow!!! I like to start this review by,I love and support local businesses in my community immensely, especially black owned business . Sad to say I received some of the worst customer service at this restaurant. I wasn’t greeted upon entry, more so rushed and told “what you ordering” (not asking my name at any time upon order completion) only to see on my receipt she just put“GLASSES” by a young lady behind the service counter.This after standing & waiting for 5-7 minutes .I believe in pertinence alongside understanding ,some days may be busier than others . The customer service got worse as I continued to open-minded & patient. I waited (45 minutes for 3 items ) 1-cheeseburger egg roll,1-surf & turf egg roll,1-Honey Garlic wings . I tipped beforehand hoping for a decent experience as done anywhere I try out .I was extremely disappointed in the intentional RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL customer service given by the cashier and food handler “Nusha R”as my receipt posted below.I politely inquired on why the delay for my food ? (AFTER waiting patiently, and understanding food being “Made to order”. I counted 10 UBEREATS orders picked up and 5 orders IN-HOUSE after & receive their food before me.) Nusha R’s response was to the effect of “We got orders before yours, so….”Then rolled her eyes ,turned her back and walked off on me . Horrible customer service. Nahhhhh!!!!! Imma say this NOW!! This place is soo amazing!! Wasn’t expecting the food to be so great since I was grabbing something in a clutch cuz I was on my way to a flight ….mannn I almost missed my flight turning back to grab their buttermilk chicken sandwich for my husband !!! Not only that I had the loaded bacon fries and it was out of this world…the prices were super reasonable!! I wished I had grabbed a drink instead of drinking my bottle of water😂😂😂 Check this place out...
