I get five medications, three of them compounded, for my beagle Hank's CHF diagnosis. Blend Labs Rx came recommended from his cardiologist, Dr. Goodwin, and I was so overwhelmed and scared at the onset of the diagnosis that I would never have questioned going anywhere else. Now, 18+ months later and plenty of research/support groups under my belt, knowing what other options are out there, I STILL choose Blend Labs Rx! They are able to compound three medications so Hank is getting three pills with each meal, instead of five. Mike the owner called me immediately upon receiving the prescription orders from the cardiologist to go over each one with me, in detail, including any potential concerns or side effects. One medication did cause a predicted side effect, which I was happy to be already aware of but I still reached out after hours, via text, to Mike with the concerns and he still replied and alleviated my fears! He also recommended a supplement brand, from his personal experience and knowledge, to add to my pup's treatment protocol. I love Blend Labs RX. They supply my Beagle’s prescriptions for her heart meds. I was referred to Blend Labs RX by the heart specialist for Princess. The specialist ordered the meds for me while I was in his office and very shortly after I got home I received a call from the lab. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything about all the meds I would get for Princess and how they were to be administered. They also told me about some of the side effects she might have and to call them if there were any problems. They always contact me before they send out another set of the prescriptions and will recontact me if I ask them to wait on sending them. This is a wonderful company and makes getting your pet’s meds easy and worry free. I would recommend Blend Labs RX to anyone who has a pet that needs meds on a continual basis. I now have Princess’ brother on heart meds and contacted the Lab for his meds. They contacted my vet and got his approval. He didn’t give them any refills so they contacted me when Bear was due for a refill and asked if I would like them to contact the vet for a refill. What a wonderful company. I can't recommend Blend Labs RX enough. I have a 9 lb Chihuahua with a seizure disorder and her meds need to be specially compounded. I was using another pharmacy that was recommended by my vet for the first 3 years I had my dog and it was a nightmare. I was told they were the only pharmacy in the country that could compound these meds, so I put up with a lot of issues. Refills weren't being placed timely, orders went missing, etc. and it caused so much stress on me, because if my dog doesn't have her meds, she could die. I finally had enough and started researching pharmacies myself and came upon Blend Labs. I'm so glad I did, and I wish I had found them sooner! They text me reminders when my dog's refills are coming up. I usually forget to respond immediately because I'm at work, but if they don't hear back, they reach out again. Another thing I was told by that other pharmacy was that the medication took 4 days to compound, which is why it was always a crisis when they messed up my order.
