I’ve been trying to cancel my Blink Fitness membership since March, and it’s been a complete nightmare. Every request has been ignored. They keep directing you to their website to cancel, but it doesn’t work—and they know it. A front desk manager even laughed and admitted the system doesn’t actually process cancellations. It’s clearly a tactic to make it as difficult as possible to cancel.
I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after being ignored for months. Blink’s response? They claimed they had “no evidence” of my cancellation requests—despite multiple attempts by phone, web and in writing. Even now, after the BBB complaint, they’re still charging my account.
It’s clear they’re banking on customers giving up or not noticing the ongoing charges, so they can continue profiting from people who don’t even use the gym. This isn’t just poor service—it’s unethical. Stay far away from this gym. There are plenty of places to work out that won’t try to scam you. To clarify this is my response to Blink Fitness message: I have to be honest, your response feels like more of the same: a polite message with no action behind it. I’ve already reached out multiple times by phone, through your website, and by mail. None of those efforts led to any resolution. In fact, even your own staff has admitted the online cancellation option doesn’t work. That’s not a technical glitch—it’s a deliberate tactic.
At this point, your company is knowingly continuing to charge customers who have taken every possible step to cancel. That’s not just bad service—it’s deceptive and unethical. I’m keeping detailed records in case further action is needed. Please stop charging my account immediately and confirm the cancellation in writing. I expect a full refund for the charges made after my original cancellation request.

I requested a change of location so the app would show me the woodside location when I schedule an appointment. One of the staff helped do it but she upgraded my membership without my consent. I went back to get it fix and she told me to come back when the manager is AM is on site. I come back and unfortunately the manager is not on site but I end up arguing with one stubborn staff where he tries to trick me and say that each location has a different charge of membership. I got mad about it because the location that I change from is in Astoria where woodside and Astoria are located in queens. The green membership is enough to attempt both location. It is ok to try and sell customer to upgrade membership but tricking customer to do it is unethical. I don’t know if he is new but he seriously need some training before facing customers. I also had to argue with the person in the door. I understand that the gym was busy and full capacity and people were waiting outside to get in the gym. I told the person in the door that I am not going to the gym but I need to fix a issue in the account. He tells me to wait outside since the gym is at full capacity. I was good about it and step out but when the first and second person comes out, I was not call to get in the facility. Read moreThe minute I check in,I was greeted every time with a nice smile,friendly and courteous staff at the front desk.All the maintenance staff no matter what time I come in at this gym you will always find them cleaning at most times.Maintenance Staff checks every time on a daily basis the cleanliness of the gym especially the locker room and shower facilities.Its amazing how the staff works here at Blink Woodside,They are totally non stop! They are all making sure that the gym is well kept.The Front desk is always ready and happy to answer all your questions and inquiries.Most importantly,machines and weights were all in order and well maintained.The gym also provided their members a sanitary wipes of which you will see them on every corners.This gym is managed by a well Professional and well mannered that knows how to pleased his customers and his staff.I am sending a big kudos for a job well done to all the 57th Street Woodside Staff especially to the Manager that I was referring above.He is a dedicated,hardworking and very professional.His performance and leadership skills is unsurpassed, this also includes the assistant manager and ever hardworking maintenanace Mary which I always see her every morning vacuuming floors to ceiling constantly as well as mopping the floors.I also find this gym very accessible and convenient with their hours of operations.No matter how busy I am in my office,I am always looking forward to go to this gym because knowing that this is my second home..Bravo to all the staff and Keep up the good work!!!I highly recommend this...
