G Mart — Local services in New York

I walk the extra 10 minutes for this grocery store because the produce is less expensive and better quality. I've bought onions for twice the price at an American chain grocery store closer to me that was poorer in quality. I've never had a bad tangerine when I've bought from G Mart but had terrible ones from other places. I always find G Mart to be fresher and cleaner with their produce. Even some spices are better priced here than other places.

Not all workers speak English well, so there might be some difficulty communicating, but they are always helpful if you approach them. I've googled ingredients pictures and shown it to them and they'd immediately find it for me. G Mart has (so far) never failed me for certain Asian ingredients that are hard/near impossible to find at American groceries. For Korean ingredients I go to Hmart and Japanese ingredients I go to Taiyo. There's some overlap of course, but at G Mart I've found ingredients for Chinese, Vietnamese, and...

Tide original 42 oz costs 7.69$ but this store charged me 13.58 $, I don’t understand why? I just bought it today for an emergency on my to come home and realize being over charged It may sound simple but I can imagine doing grocery there and spending double, so id rather avoid this store and go somewhere else.
