Bronx Daycare Center! Not a good experience at all. Lets start with the Head(Director) she does not speak unless spoken to, shes not welcoming, she does not handle any business in regards anything that goes on in the daycare. My son started 3k his first time in any daycare setting which was explained. He was there for one day and the head teacher Annel(hispanic) and the asst teacher of the 301 classroom, told me that she was incapable and inexperienced and was not able to work with my child. He was having a tantrum in class like any toddler would but because shes only use to tantrums that consist of stomping feet, and crying anything else was too much for her. She was clearly inexperienced to even say something like thag out of her mouth. She expected my 3yr old boy to get naptime routine, transitioning routine on his first day of school of any school for that matter. She did not give him an opprotunity at all which was actually disheartening. The educators in this school have 3yrs and less experience working with children. They only work with children that makes their job easy. I took my son out of the school his first day because she told me she was uncomfortable working with him. The Director NEVER asked what happened, NEVER communicated any solutions, NEVER even asked me the situation or what couldve been done. They just had my son things packed and ready to go. I never saw the most unprofessional staff in my entire life in a school system. They are not on top of business. I would not reccommend this daycare to my worst enemy. To sum it up: unprofessional, lack of hard work, inexperienced teachers, Zero communication, and if your child has any challenges that require them to put that degree to use this is not the place for your children. Theeeee worst to day the least!!! No follow up calls, not a care in the world that i had to take my 3yr old out of a program because their inexperineced teacher couldnt handle a 3yr old child that was a little difficult than what she...
Read moreHad the pleasure of enrolling my Autistic son here. He attended for over a year before being transferred to another school for services otherwise he would've continued to attend. All the staff on site were always welcoming and friendly. My son was non verbal and loved by all. All the students and teachers would call him by his name. Although my son could tell tell me how he was being treated I could tell that they were amazing and patient with him. If you are looking for a wonderful school, with an amazing and loving staff, I 100% recommend. My non verbal Autistic shy son left here saying words, socializing and even almost 100% potty trained!! Thank you to Mrs. Lynn, Mrs. Alice , and the rest of the Amazing staff at...
