Ok so when you walk in, the outside looks a little tacky. There are 2 entrances but one is closed off with a few cones. You walk in and are immediately in the store section. No one to tell you where to go, 95% of the staff seemed like they did not want to be there, the stroller corner was a disaster, you just leave your strollers in a corner and hope for the best. Theres random small steps that I almost tripped on because it isn't clear that a step is coming up, it was chaos in the store because they use the same line for checking in as they do for paying for items you purchase at the store. Location is too small for the amount of people allowed in a group. We all just awkwardly stood around feeling like we were blocking others from shopping. Then you walk in they play a bluey movie it is maybe 2 minutes long, the employees mics were so low, I couldn't hear a word the lady was saying. The bluey house was so crowded because their were 3 groups there at once so everyone was on top of each other. Bluey kitchen had one step stool for 20 kids. Everything looked old and dirty, then they had a bluey TV with no sound just picture. Their wasn't much to do in between story time. The story time you could hardly hear, I don't like how one of the staff spoke to one of the children who was reaching out for the book, he said "you probably can't read" and "this is my book" so you are creating doubt and selfishness in a child's mind, instead of encouragement and teaching to share. The slide had hard steps, and you couldn't tell what was up on the platform for the steps. Everything was underwhelming. At the end you get one pose and one shot at a picture. The "photographer" (aka staff member with a camera) just clicked clicked clicked so we got like 4 of the same picture. No variation in pose. It wasn't a meet and greet. You take your picture and go. There was a random room with products with no one manning it. There is one bathroom area that is only accessible during the Bluey experience. The staff are rude and not helpful, there was only one middle aged man at the entrance who genuinely loved what he did and he was so pleasant, we wished we had him the entire time. The craft area was a joke. The staff un enthused. It was about 5 or 6 small chairs and the area was so congested. The craft people seemed bored and I stood there and no one even asked if I needed help. Also when I had called about 5 days in advance to book a rsvp the young lady who answered the phone 3 times did not say anything. She didn't say "camp bluey" or anything. I asked to speak to someone else who was more friendly and assisted me with setting up RSVP while having a summer pass. This isn't worth it. 100 for 3 of us. Take your kids to a children's museum or fun place where there is more space and...
Read moreWe had a terrible experience. It was very HOT inside. So hot that my child was crying and didn't want to run around, was asking to change into shorts..(it was 25 degrees outside so no, we didn't have shorts) It lierally felt like a sauna. Everyone was sweating. It was also very crowded. You advertise "15 people at a time" but it was packed. Between the heat and the amount of people, you couldn't enjoy anything. There were coats all over the floors and blocking things. Kids were trying to run up the wave thing and falling over coats. I took photos of it..what a safety hazard! Why wasn't staff monitoring this or why isn't there a coat check? No one could sit in the spinny chair because there were coats and bags in it. Coats and bags blocking slides. Just everywhere. Poppy was present for about 5 minutes when we first arrived and the kids were so excited. But then we were called to the Mr dinkles spa so I told them they could see her after. By the time they were done there was no more Poppy. They got a glimpse of her but couldn't even take a picture or give her a hug. No Branch which was advertised in photos. Oh...and while my daughter was getting her "troll transformation", the girl doing her face paint was talking to the other girls about "WHO WAS DRESSED AS POPPY TODAY?" My kids thought that Poppy was real, so afterwards I needed to come up with some story as to what they were talking about. They didn't believe me, and keeps harping on the fact that "the poppy was FAKE, why was poopy fake?" Why try to ruin the magic for kids? Little kids belive in the magic, please don't ruin it! I couln't believe she was saying this RIGHT in front of all the kids in the spa. She completely ruined ANY magic there may have been. This girl also gave zero smiles the whole time and just talked to coworkers instead of the kids. My daughter was so uncomfortable. Afterwards the kids wouldn't even keep the trolls wigs on because it was so damn hot and their little heads were sweating.
There was also very little to do. 3 slides which were too crowded and too hot to even go on. So we just stood around. My kids were so bored! Especially with it being 100 degrees. And they LOVE trolls. Like seriously love trolls. This completely ruined it for them. What a disappointment. We were also told that "someone would be walking around with a camera to take pictures". No one had a camera.
I can't believe I spent $265 just so my kids could cry and have...
Read moreOverpriced and underwhelming. I would give zero stars if I could. We were so excited to take our nearly 4 year old here. When we got in it was kind of magical to step in to Blueyâs home but it went downhill from there. The rooms were small and there was very little in them to engage with or play with. Items in the kitchen were falling apart. The stovetop had big pieces of white tape holding it together at the top. The whole house looked beaten up and rundown. In the fort room the unicorn horseyâs neck was broken. The keepy up ball was impossible to keep up. Poor choice of material to use for a game that required keeping a ball up in the air. A cheap balloon wouldâve been better. There was also only one ball and a lot of kids so not everyone got to try and play with the useless ball. Also, having an usher/performer to engage and facilitate a keepy up game with the kids would have been an obvious thing youâd think they would do but alas it was just a free for all. The story time performers/dance mode performers had low energy and we could only hear one of them because only one of the 2 performers was micâd. Ridiculous. During story time this was particularly bad to only hear one performer properly. Youâre telling me they couldnât afford to mic all their performers and ushers? It was like everyone there was just going through the motions with no joy or warmth or engagement. It was depressing. The first usher who guided us in to the house was great, warm, friendly and great energy for the kids. The other ushers we encountered seemed bored and unengaged. This is supposed to be a magical experience for kids. At the very least they should smile and be warm and engaging with us. The usher who escorted us out was very harsh and militarily getting us out to the part where you get to take a photo with Bluey and Bingo. We were barked at to line up in a bottle neck into Banditâs shed and then all Bluey and Bingo do is pose for a picture with each kid/family and then they usher us out. No engagement or playtime with the group of kids. No time to play and explore in Blueyâs garden (where the pics take place). HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Far better to have stayed home and watched Bluey on the tv. I will never give my money to a Camp experience again after this. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME ON THIS POORLY RUN AND...
