PROCEED WITH CAUTION

I am writing to express our profound dissatisfaction with our recent experience purchasing a kitchen countertop from Ciot. In April, my husband and I began our journey to find the perfect Taj Mahal slab, making a total of five visits to the Brooklyn showroom, as this was our first time doing a home renovation.

After much consideration, we selected a slab that we absolutely fell in love with. To secure this specific slab, we immediately paid in full through our fabricator, who was recommended by Ciot. As you may know, renovation is a very stressful project, but the most stressful part was our experience with Ciot. The slab delivered to us a month later was not the one we had meticulously chosen.

The piece we received is marred by numerous flaws, including scars and dark red veins that are drastically different from the pristine slab we selected. This level of discrepancy is unacceptable, especially given the time and effort we invested in choosing the perfect slab for our kitchen. Additionally, there is a concerning lack of checks and balances, as there is NO proof or receipt to confirm the purchase of the specific slab we initially paid for. This raised some serious questions in our minds about the process. For a company of Ciot's reputation, the absence of such basic accountability is quite alarming.

The aftermath of this mistake has been particularly frustrating. The salesperson offered a mere $300 as compensation and then shifted the responsibility entirely onto the fabricator and us.

Despite reaching out to Ciot via email over a month ago regarding this issue, we have yet to hear back from the team. I highly recommend that individuals considering a purchase from this store proceed...
