Do you want to get in shape? Do you find a regular gym boring? If you answered yes to both the above questions, you should try some kickboxing.
Instructor: Hardcore Macro (Mondays) - You can expect a full body intense workout from him. He will train you hard until you can taste iron in the back of your throat. If you are looking for a high intensity work out, attend his class.
Instructor: Destroyer Wade (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays) - Military drill Sargeant style training. This Instructor will keep you busy and sweating. There will be almost zero rest time and class will be over before you know it. Attend his class if you plan to get monthly because he trains specific muscles on different days. Its a nice schedule.
Instructor: 1 vs 1 me Yaya (Thursdays 5pm, he teaches morning classes otherwise 9-10am) - This Instructor will teach you how to how to use your body and train muslces you have never used. You can expect 1 vs 1 training with pads and he will help you improve your form and techniques. Attend his class if you want personal attention.
Instructor: Karate Kid Kawme (Fridays) - The Instructor will train you about the basics of throwing punches and kicks. He focuses on kickes of all types. So if you want to learn some side kicks or flying round house kicks, attend his class. This class is usually not too fast paced and perfect for beginners.
Instructor: Limit Break Nicole (Saturdays on and off) I've only attended 2 of her classes because she comes in biweekly. Her training style is a combination between Intense workout (heavy weights) and hitting the bag for cardio. She will push you to test your limits 🙂 and break through. (Beginners should proceed with caution haha) But jokes aside, attend her class if you want a serious work out. Her training style will get you results.

So far I have had classes with Addy, Patrick and Wade, and they are all wonderful teachers, inviting and welcoming to everyone of any skill level. As someone who is intimidated by working out, I have found the classes very entertaining, comprehensive and flexible. Everyone is welcome to move at their own pace, and the workouts are designed for you to go as hard as you wish. Truly a full body workout with short breaks throughout. The gym is very clean, and bags and mats are cleaned after each class. Could not say enough good things about CKO Clinton Hill. Kickboxing has become my favourite hobby, it is so fun, always makes my day and stress relieving from school work. All the instructors are so nice, motivating and funny. It helped me get into a healthier daily routine by exercising and developing different kickboxing techniques. My favourite instructors are Kwame and Wade! 🤩🤩🤩both with good sense of humour and very helpful with their advices for me to improve on certain punches and kicks.
