The cucumber is out of this world here. Just a little sweet with a hint of vinegar marinated for some time and I can have that as entree. The roasted beef isn’t that great and can use some improvement as they are thicker than normal.
We had a great time here in door because we are the only two customers at 6pm. After our meal, the place started to have a few more people. Inside is very clean and spacious. You can treat yourself to a pull noodle show by the chef. They play popular Chinese music and I remember some of those which make the meal enjoyable.
As for the line for takeout is pretty long and constant coming. As we left, there are about 5 to 6 group waiting for their order. I would advice to order ahead of time.
I had the braised lamb noodle and it’s decent. Nothing out of this world but the soup base is delicious. I would probably only pay for the soup if that’s an option.
Service is 100% being the only customer and I am sure they will keep up when thing back to...
Read moreEdit: updated back to 5 stars after dining in! Excellent service (I was caught surprised as Chinese restaurants are typically not the greatest) and tried their other dishes. The hamburger with beef was amazing and my favorite. Their xiaolongbao was also good... very excellent beef noodles. You can choose the width of noodles. I chose wide which was a mistake as it was a flatter noodle. Think regular or thick would taste better with the soup! Again, here is an example where service and dining in vs the cold stark world of food delivery comes into play.
Not perfect, but 100% grateful there's a DECENT chinese restaurant in the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene/Bed Stuy vicinity! Yesterday I finally tried and ordered 3 items. Stand outs were: Marinated beef with cilantro and Marinated Cucumber. The Zha Jiang noodles were forgettable, wish it had more of a kick. Still want to support this place 100% and will try other items...
Read moreHear me out of the story. First, service is BEYOND AWESOME bc of their problem solving skills. I placed an order here via Ubereats (but I live in Jersey city), and there were miscommunications between restaurant, me, and Ubereats. Ubereats provided excuses to not give refund at all with automatic response via app. Manager Miss Gao and the owner were super helpful in this situation. They kept my receipt and explained what went wrong leading to no refund after cancellation and fixed their takeout device promptly. I was in Brooklyn yesterday and picked up the order after two weeks. Besides that, tastes of the food were much better than other location. I can clearly tell that the noodles were freshly made (the textures were great) comparing to JC location’s frozen overnight noodles doughs. Guess why, this location is owned by a different owner. In short, I’m coming back again even thought I live in...
