I hosted my husband’s 40th birthday celebration aboard the Cloud Nine III on April 6, 2019. It was a wonderful occasion!

I was nervous about hosting a party on a yacht. The guests ranged in age from early 20s to late 70s and many are “foodies”. From the planning to the actual party, Vicki Vizzio, the Cloud Nine Sales Manager, was attentive, answered all my questions, made suggestions, recommended vendors (DJ, florist, cake bakery) and reassured me that everything would be first class. Vicki and her staff did not disappoint! It was a fabulous, fun party!

It began with Captain PJ helping our guests board--I was worried about our elderly guests, but he made sure they boarded safely without calling attention to their physical frailties.

Vicki kept the party on schedule. It was a lovely evening with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the deck. Our servers, Ann Marie and Edwin made sure the passed hors d’oeuvres were plentiful. The stationery display was beautifully presented with an assortment of cheeses. Cocktail hour was enjoyed by all!

The dining room looked lovely. The linens, floral arrangements, balloons, birthday cake and decorations all came together to reinforce our fun theme while still maintaining an air of elegance. The buffet dinner was delicious with Vicki and staff efficiently serving and making sure that there was never a bottleneck. The food was delicious and many guests went back for seconds. The birthday cake was scrumptious—several of us had two pieces.

The bartender Brittney was polite, very efficient and always smiling. The bar was fully stocked with premium liquors.

Dancing was an important part of our celebration. Vicki suggested having a small dance floor installed which worked well and encouraged people to get up and dance. DJ Sanchez was fun and set the right tone—soft music during dinner and taking it up several notches during the last hour.

The New York skyline is beautiful at night and we have amazing photos and videos to remember the evening. Everyone rushed to the deck when we passed the Statue of Liberty.

Amazing Experience!

My friends just got married on this boat & it was a 5-star boutique experience.

When we boarded they greeted us with drinks and showed us to the top deck for the ceremony (beautiful setting and weather)

After the ceremony we set sail to tour the island & the views were fantastic! The staff treated us like royalty bringing us drinks and snacks before we were seated for a delicious dinner.

We had desert under the Statue of Liberty (I can't believe we got that close) then got to see the city lit up at night as we made our way back to the dock.

All around an amazing experience, couldn't recommend...

Cloud 9 was an unbelievable experience for our wedding. It was tremendously special and beautiful, especially because we did not know what to expect with a wedding on a yacht. Mariann, the wedding coordinator, is so responsive, so on top of everything, and so cool and kind. It was surprisingly approachable and accessible for folks new to yacht parties. The food was amazing, the views were spectacular, and it was just a cool vibe the whole day. The staff were so attentive. Cloud 9 was the pinnacle of competence and professionalism in terms of throwing a darn great party....
