D' Oasis Beauty Salón — Local services in New York

Friday, the ladies here w/the most magical and professional hands saved my life. So, I had left a salon a few blocks away that day looking to get a detangling, wash & set, and a trim. Fortunately for me, the stylist I wanted that day was refused by the owner, boss, or whoever she was who told me no. I almost sat and got serviced by a young lady who spoke no English and was unclear about the products I walked with for my hair. Out of desperation I almost let her start on me, until my desperation pushed me to get resourceful and remember this Harlem Gem. So, I hightailed it here. Upon entering I was greeted w/the utmost in courtesy, kindness, professionalism, and respect. 2 Ladies (Shout Out To) Felicia who w/another winner gently untangled my hair, gave me the best shampoo of my life, deep conditioned, and roller set me. When she took the rollers out, I was so amped w/the results (full of body), I didn't want the blower. With that said, when things don't go as we plan, don't fret, take the 'L' and count it a win. That's what I blessed up on that day because I have no choice but to make D'Oasis my new go-to for all things Great Hair w/Awesome Customer...

Unfortunately the people who work there are negative and ignorant. I had one of them burn my skull with high heat, and they look at you weird when you say the dryer is to hot. Mind you it's blasting at 90 degrees of course it's to hot. I had a really bad experience with one of them yesterday. She got very condescending and was super negative and toxic to me. Never again am I going back there. You are dealing with ignorant Dominican ladies....
