Dalia's Nail Lounge — Local services in New York

After moving to Dyker Heights and looking at plenty of nail salons, I decided to give Dalia Nail Lounge a try! I booked an SPA Medi/Pedi for my husband through the website, which is very easy to navigate. We were the first appointment at 9:30AM and met the owner Dalia, who is a very nice woman! The esthetics of the salon were pleasant also. You can tell she takes pride in the decor and makes it feel like you are right at home. She took her time during the appointment, and it shows in the results. My husband's feet look and feel amazing, and he is very satisfied! So I had an appointment for nail tip/pedi combo. 1) She was extremely sweet and funny, loved her as a person. Just not as a nail tech. 2) She did a great job with my feet, except it’s been 2 days and one of my toes are chipped. 3) I wanted a simple French design but she kept messing up so after 4 crooked designs I told her just paint everything black. Mind you, it’s been 2 days and one of my nails look kinda bubbly. I pick at it and black gel polish that wasn’t dried comes out. Great service but never doing my nails here again. Not worth...

The salon was clean but unfortunately it was one of the worst acrylic sets I’ve ever had done. The girl who did my nails didn’t push/ remove my cuticles. She globbed the acrylic on there with no skill at all. My nails were so lumpy and thick. She applied the nail polish so poorly it flooded my nail bed. Even after another tech came to fit it some of my nails are still lumpy and uneven. I was so disappointed I almost cried...
