Honestly, I'm shocked to see good reviews for this store. We've been customers there for over 7 years since it's the closest store to us, and we have repeatedly been sold rotten and spoiled food. The latest and last straw for me was a pack of cheese slices that looked fine, but were moldy in the middle when we opened it at home. We have brought home rotten sour cream, eggs, meat, cheese on multiple occasions. We have spotted them selling things past their expiration date. We have seen them leave a pallet of eggs out unrefrigerated. On top of it, their prices have gotten outrageously expensive.

I get that they’re trying to move inventory . However be aware of the “Todays Special” Label. Many times that stuff is already rotted in the bottom and the meats are literally out of shelf expired. Unfortunately this is the only grocer supermarket around with almost everything you need. The vegetable section is limited to the area’s palette , so unless you like to shop at one of those ethnic shops nearby that have the produce outdoor on display for flies and rats to feast on this supermarket is the only chose. I can’t wait till Trader Joe’s moves in

Please check the freshness of any salads or sandwiches with mayonnaise in them. Today, I bought 3 coleslaw salads . They were all sour. The label said sell by 07.18.2023. Please be extremely careful. Food poisoning is not a joke. BTW, the store "manager" didn't care at all. He seemed to be very anointed by my complaint. Maybe he knew about it.

A true staple in the community! I can’t say enough good things about our local supermarket! Not only do they offer a wide variety products at competitive prices, but what truly sets them apart is their commitment to the community. One thing that really impressed me is their focus on employing people from the local area, particularly those who speak Spanish! In a diverse community like ours, it’s refreshing to walk in and feel an immediate sense of belonging. The staff, many of whom are bilingual, go out of their way to assist Spanish-speaking customers, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and understood. This kind of inclusion makes shopping there a much more personal experience. Whether you’re looking for something specific or just need advice on which products to choose, the staff is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. It’s clear that this supermarket values its community by creating jobs locally and making an effort to employ individuals who reflect the diversity of the neighborhood. This not only enhances the shopping experience for customers but also empowers local residents by giving them opportunities to work and grow. Overall, this is more than just a place to shop – it’s a cornerstone of our community, and I’m proud to support such an amazing business!...

IF I CAN GIVE THIS SUPERMARKET NO STARS I WOULD. THE MANAGER THAT IS THERE IS RUDE FOR STARTERS ME AND MY FAMILY TRIED TO ORDER A DELIVERY WE ARE ALL SICK AND DECIDED TO ORDER FROM PIONEER! AND HE PICKS UP THE PHONE UNPROFESSIONAL NOT A GOOD MORNING OR HELLO. JUST “yea” WE TELL HIM WANT TO PLACR AND ORDER AND HE SAYS “ohh god!!!” WHAT MANAGER TREATS CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS? IS THIS A JOKE? IM SORRY BUT IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB PLEASE GIVE IT TO SOMONE WHO WILL TREAT THIER CUSTOMERS BETTER. HE NEVER GREETS ANYONE IN THE SUPERMARKET, ALWAYS HAS AN ATTITUDE WHEN SOMEONE TRIES TO ASK HIM QUESTIONS OR COMPLETELY IGNORES THE CUSTOMER. AND THE CASHIERS HAVE BAD ATTITUDES ITS HORRIBLE. SOMEONE NEEDS TO TAKE OVER AND FIX THIS UP! THEY ARE ROBBING THE NEIGHBORHOOD! THE PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS! THE PRODUCE IS ALWAYS MOLDY. THIS IS THE WORST MANAGEMENT IN THIS...

This is the worst grocery store I've ever been in. Produce tastes like plastic, I'm not sure what it is but it's not fresh at all - anything thats remotely unspoiled will go bad within a day. Produce is also very over priced. They don't have a great selection of bread, only very basic sliced bread, tortillas and some muffins. Not any sort of fresh bread or artisan bread. They also don't have a good selection of meats or frozen foods at all - very skimpy meats, that look old. Basically only good for the things you could already get at a bodega for cheaper. If you live in the area, go to other grocery stores, there are cheaper ones in Sunset Park or Bay Ridge with better produce and selection of food. Every time I spend money here it feels...
