I attempted to work with Preya from Delicious Treats but I had to end up cancelling and requesting a refund. Her communication skills are horrible and attitude deplorable.

Issues with Communication: So many examples but I will just discuss a few. She offered to give a tasting so I requested vanilla and dolce de leche frosting, however she gave us some nasty custard and chocolate. When I went to pick up the samples the 1st thing she says to me and I quote "The cakes are old". Why would you give customers old cakes to taste from? After trying to eat the sample I had to call her to tell her it was difficult to really taste the frosting trying to eat from the "old" cake so I requested if I can try again for the vanilla and dolce frosting. She said that she had to bake a cake on Wednesday and will use that fresh cake for the tasting. I even texted her after the call to confirm the flavors to ensure there was no confusion. Tuesday evening she sends me a text stating she made 4 samples (instead of the 2 requested) and that the cost was $10. I told her she didn't mention a cost when we spoke on the phone and she apologized and said the cake she was supposed to make on Wednesday was canceled so she had to make samples specifically for me. This is just another example of her poor communication skills rather than informing me about the change, she decided to charge me for something never discussed and she made 4 samples instead of 2 (I have no idea why).

Attitude: Wednesday morning we were communicating through text as I had some additional questions on the 4 samples she made and she says "I really don't have time for all this would you like to proceed with the order or would you like a refund" What a nasty way to talk to a customer. I was just trying to get clarification on something and you respond by saying you don't have time to speak to me? I thought this was very rude.

This was a very horrible and stressful situation to deal with considering my son's 3 year old birthday was fast approaching and I had to scramble to make other arrangements and I have still yet to receive my FULL refund. Where can I start? I was trying to find a good bakery for my friend birthday to surprise her with a cake. I typed in my Zip code in Google, which led me to Delicious Treats. I decided to take a chance since the establishment is literally a 2 min drive from my house. Well, let me tell you that it was the best decision I've made. I gave her little to no description of how I wanted the cake done. I asked for a heart-shaped cake and for me to be surprised. I swear that she did. I would recommend Delicious Treats, not only for her style but her Red Velvet cake was heavenly to my taste buds.
