Dollar Tree — Local services in New York

Today, Sept 12 my shopping experience in this place is very bad.... before I was happy got all stuffs with good deal. When I paid my shopping at the cashier, the sales (Nichole) said my total $12.18, so I gave her my money $22.20 (one $20 bill, two single & 20cents). She supposed give me change $10 & 2cents, but she about to give me 9 dollars & 2 cents. She argued and talk back to customer very unprofessional and rude. I said "you don't know how to count". A guy (manager?) came and I explained to him. So I said : give back my 20 dollars, so I pulled the $20 instead I gave her $10. So I gave them exactly money. But the guy (mananger) seem on her side and they"r not apology at all for her mistake. When I look the receipt, I found out the cashier (Nichole), she type wrong in the computer $21.20 .... no wonder came up $9,02 supposed the change $10,02. The cashier should be go back to school and learn math and manner, coz she has no manner and rude to customer.... no apology at all and she is vr selfish ...she thought she is right. I came back to the store again after i stepped out and show the guy (manager? ).... the reason (coz your cashier put/type in computer wrong $21.20 actually I gave my money $22.20). Sometime I went to other dollar tree store.. but this is the first time I had bad experience....

Products sections are mostly messy staff are ok food there is ok but this store needs security improvements

UPDATE 8/9/2020 I miss the old manger and employees of this location . Now there is a new manager and new employees that seriously need help it’s been worse than the times I visited when the old manager was there . In the past yes it was messy but now when I walk in it feels like a tornado that ripped through the aisles BTW I AM A REAL CUSTOMER I visited here before in was changed to dollar tree which was deals . The shelves used to be not as empty but now it is so empty . I used to get a lot of my Sports cards here as well as my sports sticker albums and stickers the last time I visited which was before the pandemic it was still full but it was super messy I found a lot of things opened . As I weren’t to check out the sports card section there was only one box of packs it used to have more than 10 Sports...

On multiple occasions the manager has claimed there is no helium for balloons when my husband has attempted to buy some. Finally, today he pointed out 4 helium tanks in the store which she insisted were empty. Pushed to his limit, he went to pick up the tanks and found they were all indeed full. Well an altercation ensued where the manager alleged she was the owner of dollar tree and not under any obligations to fill helium balloons. Fortunately, another employee was kind enough to intervene and fill the balloons for us for Mother’s Day and my daughter’s first birthday. I hope that she will be recognized for her good service and not penalized by her boss who was in a huff that she violated the chain of command. I hope something will be done about the poor management which has been reported in many...
