We were disappointed that the bartender kept ignoring people waiting to order drinks so she could tell stories at the (not busy) bar. Was truly weird. Closed tab later with a different bartender and he walked to our table & aggressively asked why we only tipped her 18%. Told him & haven't gone back since.

Nice selection of drafts and a great flight deal with 4 good little pours for only $11. They have a lot of space outside for actually spaced out seating too, which is nice. Plus individual boxes of jenga and other board games, for anyone so inclined. Also would recommend the chili lime peanuts.

I suppose the atmosphere of the place is evocative of a grunge concert. I'm not a fan of grunge but I like the beer. The Password Pale Ale was crisp and refreshing. One can mix and match any 4 pack cans of beer to their choosing. They also fill up 32 ounce crowlers.

Would love to be able to tell you if the beer is good or not, but unfortunately never got the chance to taste it. We had booked a table for a Sunday evening 5pm. Date, time and location had been confirmed by email. When we showed up at the location the entrance was closed by roller shutters. You could hear typical bar noise coming from the inside, but despite waiting for a some time, ringing door bells etc. we never managed to get in. I still can’t judge if 18th Ward Brewing is good at brewing or not, but what happened to us is definitely an...

There’s a reason this bar isn’t brimming over with people when there’s a concert at Brooklyn Steel- the bartenders are incredibly demeaning and talk to their customers as if they are kindergartners. My friend is legally blind and when asking the bartender what sort of Sour IPA they had the bartender very rudely shouted “the menu is up there” even after she explained she couldn’t read it. It really feels like you’re at one of those gimmicky restaurants where the whole schtick is having the wait staff be...

Great place for motorcycle meet ups, especially on Tuesday nights. The neighborhood is an up and coming developing residential out skirt, with very little commercial traffic. Cozy brewery, nothing fancy, but all entertaining. If you have a friend whom can enjoy a beer, check out this place. And on two wheels tuesday, during the riding season, you can view all the pretty...
