Dream Halloween — Local services in New York

The reason for going to a brick and motor store so we can try before we buy. Ladies and gentlemen there are signs posted everywhere "do not touch" an employee follows you better than your shadow. My son picked up a mask the mask next to it fell. Because items placed closed together. Some lady from behind the counter came running like she is a nurse working at a ER and code red has been called. In a condensendaing tone "we recommend not wearing masks and hats unless your wanting to buy them".

In the moment in front of my kids. I didn't want to get in to a back and forth exchange of words. I just kindly said we are looking to purchase a mask and like to see if it fits.

In a rude way "ok so your not buying the broken one but your buying a mask". Instead of spending what we wanted we did small purchase and left....
