The Red Doors — Restaurant in New York

On Monday evening I was lucky to visit this bar once again. I have been here many times, I always liked everything. But not this time. This time everything was just super cool, I was so impressed that I knew for sure that I would leave a review. This bar periodically hosts various concerts and creative evenings of various musical groups, which are held by Evgeny Sakirsky, for which he is very grateful. I would like to thank Dmitry, the owner of this bar. For the opportunity to hold concerts in this room, for the excellent team and the perfectly chosen interior. It truly feels like a lot of hard work was done to bring all this to life. So, what am I talking about. ) I repeat, I have already been to that bar more than once for various concerts and performances of different artists. I was always satisfied, enjoyed myself, I wanted to visit here again. The atmosphere, the interior, the communication and everything, everything, everything. And this Monday there was just a real blast, one review cannot convey all the feelings and emotions that I felt here, having a blast. It was the first time in my life that I experienced this. A deep bow to the musicians from the Ukrainian band from Odessa "Kommuna Lux". It was something else. I don't have enough words to describe everything that I felt at their performance in this bar. For some time, I fell into memories from childhood, when my parents and neighbors danced to Ukrainian music. In some places there was a complete blast in dancing, almost the entire hall was on fire, almost all the people who were present at the concert started dancing. No matter how many times in my life and wherever I was, this was the best vacation. Special thanks to the bartender Evgeniy, who made me several very tasty cocktails. They were top notch. After the concert, talking to people, I found out that I was not the only one who experienced similar feelings. I am sure that everyone present can join this review. If I could give zero stars I would. Was just there with my family, no host at the door but we waited until a gentleman came and said he would clear the table, just to give him 5 mins. cool, no problem at all. He cleared off the table and we took our seats. A family proceeded to sit after us...we waited patiently for close 10 minutes. No menus were given to us nor did anyone approach us to ask for a few minutes while they serviced another table. The group of elder white woman that sat after my family and I did receive menus and they're order was being taken. I then walked to the bar and let the young lady know we had not received any menus, but the table that clearly arrived after us did and they're orders were also being taken while my family just sat there. She looked shocked but after I sat down she proceeded to another table as if our conversation never occurred. About 15 to 20 mins after sitting my family still had not received any menus or even acknowledged that we were in the establishment. I watched as the staff bounced from table to table, even the young lady I mentioned we still had no menu's too, she moved from table to table and still did not bring us any menus. I refuse to sit and be treated as if my money is below patrons that do not resemble me or even treated with below quality service due to the same reason. I am happy to take my money else where where I will be showed respect as a customer period. Red door bar and grill will never have to worry about me or my family stepping foot in their establishment again. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Attempted to eat at this place twice today. The first time, I pointed at 2 empty tables and asked if they were available for my friend and I. The waiter didn't even answer my question. He immediately said we couldn't bring in outside food. I had a funnel cake. Ok fine. Went outside and finished the funnel cake. My friend and I went back in and stood around for 10 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff. We had to interrupt a waitress to receive any assistance. We were told that they weren't any tables available (although we were staring at an empty one from earlier). We were told to wait a few minutes and we will get a table. We asked if there was a line and the waitress said, "No, just stand here." We asked the waiter of that particular section, if the empty table was available. He responded, "No, there isn't enough space at that table." Remember, it's just a party of two. Literally, two seconds later, the same waiter picked up the exact same table, moved it to another spot with more space and grabbed two chairs.
