My daughter and I were extremely happy at Les Etoiles. It is a special and somewhat magical place for kids. I appreciated pretty much everything about Les Etoiles but a few things stand out:

Family-like atmosphere: It's a small school that mixes kids of different ages in one classroom, which I find phenomenal. The way they treated each other it felt like they were all one big family. The energy of the place is very positive, safe, friendly and widely supportive of playing, learning, creating and exploring.

Outdoor space: Les Etoiles has a wonderful outdoor space, a backyard, they use as much as they can, which I was thrilled about. The outdoor space doesn't serve only as a play area but it's also a place to explore and learn! One day, they had a lesson on camping and my daughter was so excited to tell me how they pitched a tent in the backyard and so on :D

Curriculum: My daughter learned a great amount of letters, songs, numbers and so on while at Les Etoiles. It was wonderful to watch her going from not interested in letters and numbers before she joined and then being curious and eager to practice even at home. She was in the English program but she still learned a few songs in French and it was very cute. I especially appreciated the fact that the academic curriculum was included in a playful and very appropriate way for this age group.

Communication with parents: The school uses Brightwheel and it's very easy to reach the director and the teachers. Plus every day, at pick-up or drop-off, I could ask questions and get answers in person. We received weekly lesson plans through Brightwheel and knew what the kids will be working on. I also received daily notifications about nap time, which was helpful for me.

What I loved the most on Brightwheel was getting those beautiful pictures throughout the day and see the kids laughing, playing, writing and so on. It felt like I was part of their day and I was assured they are having a wonderful time. And they did! We do miss...

Les Etoiles continues to far exceed my expectations of quality education and childcare.

Curriculum: The first week of school, my 3 year old son came home speaking French words, three months later - singing in French, and one academic year later - does math, sings, names sea creatures (and more) - in French! Les Etoiles follows a STEAM program, which has provided my son with a well-rounded education. Lesson plans are shared in advance, and his worksheets are sent home. I can see clear progress in fine motor skills, penmanship, language, crafts and more.

Facility: The school has an indoor classroom and private play yard in the back, with different types of play stations. School is clean, and kids even change their shoes once inside.

Teachers: The two primary teachers come with childhood education certifications, and a special dose of patience and love for all the kids. The assistant teachers are also kind, and supportive to the kids. Toddlers are honest little beings, and my son consistently raves about how much he loves all his teachers.

Peer students: We have lucked out that all the peer families, parents and kids, are equally as wonderful! They are all humble, generous and kind. You can tell the kids have a bond as when they see each other outside of school - they all play together!

Pricing: Pricing is incredibly fair for the quality of education, scheduling and flexibility.
