I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing Forest Hills Youth Athletic Association from multiple perspectives over the years—first as a player over 28 years ago, and now as a coach for my daughter's soccer team. This league is the epitome of what a community sports program should be. Forest Hills emphasizes sportsmanship, personal growth, skill development, and—most importantly—fun! It's not just about winning; it's about building confidence, character, and lifelong memories.

The leadership and volunteers are passionate and dedicated, creating an inclusive environment where every child, regardless of skill level, has a place. My daughter and her teammates have thrived here, and it’s been so rewarding to watch their progress season after season. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my child to experience the joy of sports.

If you're looking for a league that truly cares about the kids, fosters a sense of community, and keeps the spirit of the game alive, Forest Hills Youth Athletic Association is it....

I’ve been associated with FHYAA for over 17 years. As a parent cheering on my children and a coach guiding our children . It’s a special place where it’s about the children. I presently coach soccer and as their coach it’s my responsibility to teach them soccer , build their confidence and be their positive role model . We foster a sense of community amongst the players. I’ve watched relationships begin and continue to present time . So life long friendships are part of FHYAA. The conversations I have with every child are such an expression of who they are and what they desire. In the end I’ve learned all they want is to be heard and help the team. Pele’ Junior who knows , but one thing is for sure they will learn soccer and walk off that field a stronger, confident...

Our experience with FHYAA has been nothing short of amazing. The staff are incredibly dedicated and truly care about each child’s experience both on and off the field. We’ve done soccer and baseball and had great experiences.

The emphasis on sportsmanship and having fun is evident in every practice and game. My child has gained confidence, had fun and made friends. The organization and communication from the league make it easy for parents to stay informed and involved.

We are grateful to be part of such a supportive and positive community. We highly recommend FHYAA to any parent looking for a great sports community...

I have been taking my children here since the soccer clinic at age 3-4 until they age out at U14. My eldest(20) is now a referee at the league and loves it! My husband is an assistant coach with the youngest who is 9 now so i have a few more years left! It is very organized from the practices to the schedule for games and playoffs and all teams are fairly even which makes it even better. The place is kept spotless and credit to all who run the league. Its great to see the referees who usually are past players and remember seeing them play soccer down the years. Nice first job for many of them. Highly recommend this league!

Forest Hills Youth Athletic Association has been incredible for my two kids who love playing soccer here. One of them was hesitant at first and didn’t want to play, but thanks to the encouraging coaches and supportive environment, she built up the courage to get out on the field over the course of the season. Now, she’s counting down the days to practice! Shoutout to Brian for his endless patience and enthusiasm—he truly makes everyone feel at home. The whole organization is well-run and welcoming. Highly recommend for any young athletes looking for a positive place to play and grow.
