The rehab staff are fantastic, other than that the Center is ghastly. The food is disgusting, absolutely tasteless, poorly done ... no fresh fruit. Sitting down for meals is absolute chaos, staff always frustrated and abrupt with patients. Those patients who were unable to feed themselves were left alone to struggle and usually ended up being given a bottled supplement The rooms are gloomy and dark. Toilets extremely small.
Getting a shower is a nightmare ... one shower on each floor shared by multiple patients. Never cleaned after each user, and one has to sit on a commode chair for the shower.
There are several lovely nurses aides who are hard working (if not overworked) and caring. Others want to put patients to bed immediately after dinner so they do not have to be bothered with them until the morning.
Night staff is careless and noisy, don't expect a good night's sleep. If you are not woken up by staff pushing carts in front of your door, expect loud and endless chatting in front of rooms, and of course 5:00 am wake up to wash and dress those who were put to bed immediately after dinner. The night shift seems poorly managed.

Read moreAllow me to start off by saying, I never write reviews but felt it was important to share my thoughts. I wanted to thank each and everyone of you for the excellent care you gave my mother Margarita O. I realize she could be very difficult at times and all of you were subjected at one time or another to her not so nice ways, esp Lillian (so embarrassed) I am so sorry for that...I/we appreciate all the tender care you gave her, and I know in her heart she did too. I was completely unaware of what to do when she was admitted, TY Connie and Judy for making this stressful process seemless. Her Social Worker, Enandra is amazing. She helped w Ins, helped w more hrs w her aide, facilitating things she needed at home when discharge was happening. She went above and beyond TY!! The Nursing Staff, spot on! TY for being so kind, happy, understanding and so very caring. To ALL my moms CNAs, without your help, compassionate care and tons of patience you made this 3 month experience very pleasant. TY! The PT staff helped get my mom stronger and more confident, they encouraging and were supportive of her. TY to the cooking staff, my mother enjoyed your food but really loved your BBQ chicken. FH Care Center, TY for all the little things you did that I am not aware of! Thank you for treating my mom with dignity...
