It is a massive, 100/100 pleasure to frame things here. Framebridge is always a great service, but absolutely no location can compare to this one because this one has Dan. This man is genuinely a visionary. From the moment he sees your piece, you can see his wheels churning. He’s a true creative, and despite doing this constantly, he manages to treat each new project like it is truly special and unique. He doesn’t seem to have any “go-to’s” - he takes the time to sit with your artwork and deeply contemplate how he can make it suit your home and your vibe perfectly. He won us over months ago when we brought in our kind of unique looking ketubah. We were absolutely hopeless as to how we could frame it and still preserve its rugged, unusual qualities. Dan was totally unfazed, picked an AMAZING mat and frame that drew out its best features, and when we were just ever so slightly disappointed with how large the mat turned out to be, he redid it (for free!!!!!) to shave off an inch, which made all the difference. We recently brought in a plain black and white print. The artwork symbolizes how, even when you’re fighting on the outside, you still love each other on the inside. Initially stumped as to how to make the piece a bit more exciting, Dan quickly had the brilliant idea to pull out the emotional THEMES of the piece, rather than the (boring) colors. He stacked two different color mats - one representing the inner love, the other the outer anger. I just can’t say enough good things about him - his personality, his vibe, his eye are all 10/10. We legitimately look forward to framing things now because we love to watch him work.
BTW, even though we can really only speak to Dan’s immense expertise, the entire team at this location seems incredible. Just a great crew all around.
If you’re considering bringing artwork anywhere else, I truly suggest you just bring it...
Read moreThis place is great. The frames are affordable and the delivery time is often as little as one week, whereas other framing locations can take 3 weeks to a couple of months. It’s essentially the Warby Parker of picture framing; the quality of the frames themselves is not as high as what you’d get in going to a local place (where you’d pay twice as much) but the service is so fast and the associates in the shop are so great at their job, it’s worth it. I’ve had them do 10 pieces for me in the past two months. This is for a few reasons:
1.) Turns out framed photos and momentos make a great gift for loved ones. You can take the piece there, get it framed, and THE STORE sends it to the recipient. So convenient. 2.) The framers at the shop are thoughtful and attentive. They talk the project through with you. This was huge compared to a shop I recently went to where the framer was super indifferent like: whatever you want dude. 3.) They’ve got a satisfaction guarantee. I’ve returned a piece because I didn’t like how they framed it and they corrected it for free and sent it to my freakin house. How tight is that on a scale of 1-10? Please reply in comments. 4.) There’s something addictive about framing things that have been sitting around the house for years on floors or in closets. And the act of talking the project through with a store associate makes you quietly say to yourself “yeah, turns out I do have taste. I guess I am a bit of an artist. Take that, art teacher who gave me an F in 6th grade. You were wrong about me, you hear...
Read moreThe team here goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. I literally have nothing but good things to say about the staff here (shoutout to Angela, Isabella and Juliet!). They were exceptional in their efforts to problem solve an issue with my file size to make my digital image large enough to fit in the frame size I wanted. The software program they were working with in the store kept rejecting the image because it was too small, so Angela and Isabella suggested trying to change the file size, extension, etc. to get it to fit. Still rejected it. Then they asked if I could put the raw file into photoshop, edit it again and redownload to a larger file size. Unfortunately I didn't have photoshop, but that was no problem for these two because they literally offered to use their computers to edit the image in photoshop for me (I mean, above and beyond ya'll). They tirelessly kept re-editing, re-downloading and making the file the perfect size for it to fit in the frame I wanted. "No" was not an option for these two - they just kept trying different things until it finally worked! I'm super excited to see how the final product comes out. I cannot thank the staff here enough for their diligence and kindness and I will definitely be returning to this location for all my...
