Maya Taqueria of Park Slope — Restaurant in New York

I had an unbelievable experience during a time of Need (6/3/20 @ 2:30pm)For the manager to be so rude/mean to another human is surreal, screaming at me like child and will not let me get a word in edgewise. I ordered $48. In food and the promotion was to receive a corn on the cob for free. I called back and let them know, the workers transferred me to the manager Daniel. The conservation consist of me saying "can I Please have the corn",Daniel said that grub hub promoted it and I was supposed to order the corn and It would have been deducted off the bill. So I asked "if I could have the corn, my children wanted it that's why I ordered the amount" he said "no!!! I should ask grub hub, they are a million dollar company and I should ask them" I asked if I could walk to the restaurant to get corn (i would have paid for it) he said "NO" then I said "I will not order from them ever again" he went nuts screaming at me. I was trying to tell him about communication, because I wrote a note on the delivery details saying "please don't forget to bring my free corn". But he was screaming about small businesses and he doesn't care about me. I was so up set and in tears I said "who the F are you to treat me like this" he could not have screamed any louder Goodbye!!!over and over until he slammed the phone down... I saved our burrito for dinner, Now 8pm here we are eating and my little boy bites down on hard pice of broken resin plastic inside of the burrito... I dont dare call back... please be very careful and weary.... I support small businesses all the way just not vulgar,...

When you enter, this doesn’t feel like your typical Mexican restaurant. It feels more modern but it’s a clean look.

The horchata has a light sweetness to it. It was refreshing I just wish it was more creamy with a stronger cinnamon hit.

Make sure to grab some sauces before you dig in.

The elote is a must you get a whole corn on the cob that’s fully coated.

For the the 2 taco lunch special. You get these 2 big tacos, rice & beans, and a drink . The chicken was juicy and shredded nice. These aren’t little tacos. They fill their tacos all the way. Plus this meal has everything you need.

I got the steak Cali burrito. They put everything in here. Steak, fries, guac, beans, you name it. That steak was savory & juicy.

The birria quesadilla was massive. With hella cheese and birria meat. With consomé on the side.

I love how you get tortilla chips with every dish. They were fresh and crunchy.

I ended it with their churro.

Service was good. The staff were helpful.

Overall the food is pretty filling and tasty. Reminds me of other fast casual Mexican but is filled with wayyy more options.

They even have a salmon taco I have to try...

First and foremost, I want to extend a special thanks to Daniel and the entire Maya Taqueria team. Daniel went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly for my Birthday party. From helping with menu selection to coordinating the service, his attention to detail was truly appreciated.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The food and drinks they provided were outstanding, and my guests couldn't stop raving about them.

The food at Maya Taqueria was exceptional. The tacos were a hit among my guests, and the variety of options ensured that everyone's tastes were catered to. The fresh ingredients and authentic flavors really hit home.

The drinks were equally impressive. The margaritas were a crowd favorite, and the bar staff did an excellent job in crafting cocktails that matched our preferences perfectly.

In conclusion, I want to express my gratitude to Maya Taqueria and Daniel for making my birthday party a fantastic and memorable event. I highly recommend Maya Taqueria for any special occasion or dining experience. They exceeded my expectations in every way....
