My wife and I wanted to learn a dance for our wedding so we found a groupon and went to Fred Astaire on Hyland Blvd. We walked in not knowing what to expect, neither of us having any type of dance skills so needless to say, we were pretty nervous. Immediately after meeting Eugene our fears were put to rest. He was extremely professional and patient and extremely talented at both dancing and teaching dance. Eugene has the patience of a saint! The instruction was broken down into pieces so we could learn small parts at a time then gradually piece them all together. Anything that Eugene saw was beyond our abilities or didn't fit our personality was changed on the spot. The end result was a very entertaining dance that our wedding guests thoroughly enjoyed. The entire experience with Eugene was an absolute pleasure. We looked forward to seeing him and learning something new each time. The owners Eugene and Dasha have been nothing short of amazing throughout this experience as dance instructors! My future wife and I have been going here for the past year now as an early Christmas gift for her, and we've been hooked to the place ever since! We were more than excited to renew our class packages with Dasha as she was very flexible with crunching numbers. Their work ethic is truly amazing and their smiles and uplifting spirits have been consistent from start to finish! We have all developed a great relationship where we're comfortable sharing personal triumphs and celebrations (like getting engaged this year) and seeing the excitement in their faces as we shared them as well. Incredible is an understatement! I needed to prepare for the father-daughter dance and had no previous experience. To make matters worse, my daughter lives 200 miles away so we could not easily practice together. A friend of mine recommended Fred Astaire Studio and I decided to give it a try. Let me say that I could not imagine a better experience. I had a pleasure of learning with Dasha, an incredible professional with amazing personality. Not only did she teach me to dance, but she also choreographed a fun and exciting mashup of songs / dance styles that dazzled the wedding guests.
