Mother Mousse — Restaurant in New York

I've been going to this place for years now. They have the best cakes. My husband LOVES their tres leche cake and though I'm not a fan I must admit I too enjoy the cake. It's not overly sweet like I've had in other places. I've tried many of their cakes and have not been disappointed yet. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I find the girls at the front could work on their customer service skills (Hylan location). A few months ago I called in an order for a cake and the girl that took my order was clueless. I just came back from a visit today and it was as if I was bothering the young lady who helped me. There was a time I'd walk in here greeted with smiles and a sense of welcoming. They seem to have lost that. Still love their cakes but they really need to reinforce customer service. Always come here to get any size or special cakes for many different occasions because we are a huge family and we always have birthdays coming up and special events. But I agree with many reviews here, customer service needs to be reinforced. Especially by the baker, I dont know her name but she is big with black hair and very strong voice. Im coming to pick up my cake for my birthday and she is just rude. If you dont like this job, I suggest finding a new job. She seems so annoyed all the time and always gives attitudes.
