MY POWDER NAILS CHIPPED THE NEXT DAY, SUPPOSED TO LAST 3 WEEKS. If you'd like to receive dip powder service, and owners that will own up and properly rectify any mistakes, please choose another salon. I only do my nails about once or twice a year, and I wanted to do dip powder for the 1st time, as I usually get gel manicures (at other salons). I decided to try this salon. Things started going left when I tried to explain the fact that I'd filed down my left hand nails a bit shorter than my right hand, if the tech could please try to match the length. Not only was that not done, but I had to correct a couple of the angles of my nails myself with the nail file (was receiving square shape nails). As the tech applied the base coat to my nails. It seemed fine at 1st. She dipped my nail, and proceeded to add the next liquid coat. As she continued adding the liquid coats per layer before dipping the nail in the powder, I noticed that she wasn't applying the coat all the way to the edges of the nail, but didn't say anything as I thought she would correct that, as she saw the powder not adhering to the edge of the nail. That was never fixed, and by the time she was done with my nails, I noticed that the top coat also was not applied to the full nail! I only noticed this mostly after I left, and came back a couple hours later asking if they could apply more top coat completely to the nail (I did not have an attitude, as there was no reason to). The owner Gigi sat me down with a bit of an attitude, applied more gel top coat ( I got a design, so they use gel top coat). While she applied it, I asked if she could apply it to the very tips of the nails and she responded "no". I was taken aback and didn't even ask why, just sat there. They had me sit under the UV light for what seemed like an extended amount of time, which I also did not like. (As I left and tried to say thank you, no-to-minimal response). The nails looked a bit better, but when I got to the car, I noticed that the top coat was still not to the edge of some of the nails. I was tired of complaining, so I left it. The next day, the powder CHIPPED, the next day, that part of my nail was also chipped, and the next few days THE POWDER CRACKED, didn't even last a week. I'm extremely disappointed in the service, the quality of the products, and suggest elsewhere to invest in your nails with a technician/owner who actually cares. Before they say like the other reviews "we don't have a record of you being a customer" that is a lie, but you definitely won't have a record of me being a...
Read morei’ll give them 3 stars for fixing my polish but what i didn’t like was the accusation in front of every other customer. for context i came in on a thursday for a new set i asked for acrylic over the phone but when they started they basically put a full press on with gel to dry “gel x” not my initial thought to have on my nails but if they don’t do acrylic then i’m all with trying something new especially if they were to do acrylic and it be horrible. nails are pre shaped and length ready. so basically zero work to be done besides just putting it on my finger. still applied them crooked. i had the tech remove the two that were crooked before she kept going. i picked a neutral pink gel color everything was good when i left. the next day friday by the morning the corners of my thumbs were lifting naturally you pull it off right ? because why would i spend my entire day with the lifted corners to get caught on everything. i called and she told me they were super busy to come the next day which is where i lost my patience a little bit because i could’ve not called and just shown up and expected it to be fixed in the moment. so she said to come 530/6 which i did she gave me the color swatches and i figured id pick a different color because why would i risk using the same one that peeled off 12 hours later. in the middle of this fix she wakes me up from my nap and tells me that they’ve been opened for 13 years and this is just unrealistic and why would i peel it off if it just lifted basically accusing me of purposely peeling off the gel. i told her either her your color is old or it wasn’t dried properly by the tech. and she rebutted with she has so much business that everyone loves and im the one with the problem basically. i said okay good for her and went back to minding my business. the tech was polite and she actually did a way better job of painting my nails this time then yesterday lol. thanks for fixing it. hopefully this color doesn’t lift considering everything in your salon is top tier and amazing and...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and AVOID this place. I felt so uncomfortable the entire time. The nail ladies were talking a lot which sounded like there were disgusting comments being made in there foreign language and one was laughing at me for wanting quality service that I am paying $100 for. Get this, on the booking site it was $75 for UV gel and with chrome and design apparently it's $100 as the owner Gigi told me in a very ignorant and entitled way, I asked what each thing added and she brushed me off saying, "It will be 98 with chrome" and went quiet. That already threw me off - the pricing already felt so dishonest. During the service, the design looked nothing like the photo I showed so I requested french instead, SHE COULDN'T EVEN DO A DECENT FRENCH!!! IT WAS SO UNEVEN, I was just shocked at the lack of effort and precision. The UV gel or probably hard gel which I didn't even ask for burned so bad I had to take my hand out within a second of putting it into the UV...When I explained why I took my hand out to my nail technician, Gigi interrupts and told me, "Just put it and take it out quick." Once again saying it with this attitude of brushing it off, I was still in pain and felt rushed the whole time. I EVEN ENDED UP DOING MY OWN FRENCH TIP because the design I originally requested was being done completely off that was littertly posted on their Google reviews. At that point, I honestly believe the photo is fake. I was there for 3 hours while coworkers laughed like I am crazy for just wanting decent work done for the $100 I was paying. The whole experience was unprofessional, frustrating, and just disappointing. I was so done towards the end when my nail lady asked me if I liked it so I replied "Yes." PLEASE save your time and money - don't come here if you care about honesty, quality, comfort, and professionalism. I don't usually leave reviews but this behavior and entitlement needs to be brought to light, I want everyone to know what they are...
