2.5 really..Early on it started out really nice, I would go in I would order my sandwich and a coffee sit there and eat and just enjoy the peace and quiet and then leave as soon as I finished. Its very nice upgrade from the last owner now clean, the service was great and food was good. The pricing is equivalent to most bagel stores. Unfortunately, it's turned into a neighborhood hang out of seniors sitting there for hours, this is not an exaggeration because sometimes I would go in get a coffee in my sandwich and maybe 2 hours later pop in for another coffee and they're still sitting there same seats so I know they've been there that whole time still talking really loud arguing Etc over the obscenely loud music. I love background music but not a full blown concert lol. Given this it's very hard to get a seat with all those people just having coffee literally. I really miss how it was early on. In other bagel stores it's loud but its standard noise for a place like that, but without the yelling and listening to arguments. However if you just want bagels just get them and get out. If you want to order and stay in with a lot of people like to do I told you what to expect LOL it is entertaining at times . Maybe the owner will start acting like one, and respectfully say to them would you mind keeping it down and please know the seats are limited so please be respectful.. this would be the way to do it. Also not sure who the guy is nothing one of the owners tall guy thin with glasses. Totally condescending to customers not to mention his arrogance. If he is the owner or one of them he's lucky that the balance of the...
Read moreThe bagel at this establishment is trash. Ordered a everything bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee and the total was $7.08! I wouldn't be so upset of the price point I'd the bagel was good or edible. I seriously don't understand how anyone can enjoy eating this food. I understand everyone needs to make money ; but this is robbery. the positive reviews were definitely posted by friends and family. Do your self a favor, head down to forest hill bagel at 104-41 Queens Blvd, Queens, NY 11375 to get a bagel. Bagels were light, fluffy and a nice crust. Is it the best bagel in NYC, no, but it's blows away the bagels from my hot bagels and bialys away.
DONT COME HERE!

Read moreI must say you’re better off avoiding this spot. Got an everything bagel since “you can never go wrong with a toasted everything” but turns out you can. Bagel got no taste. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese and a turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, avocado and cheese, also on an everything. Got charged full price while they forgot to add the lettuce, tomato and avocado, taste was already bad enough and missing the items that could possibly add some flavor, missing. The bacon egg and cheese was sad, eggs were dry, couldn’t taste the bacon, and the bagel overall was dry. Only thing that saves it from a 1-star is the coffee, that is actually a bit decent. Again, I’d recommend avoiding this place if you’re looking to eat something good. You’re better off getting a sandwich...
