To you recently-engageds looking for your florist: your search is over. Just hire Grace and Grit.
From our first meeting with Brittany, when she surprise my wife and her family, and me, to a huge tray of coffee and snacks, it was clear she would be a friendly, professional, and thoughtful collaborator. But she still managed to surprise us with how absolutely phenomenal a job she did with our wedding. She was wonderful to work with: responsive, creative, and unfussy, and very skilled at execution. Her process was straightforward, and we really appreciated that she created moodboards and a design deck for our all of our wedding florals. Best of all, Brittany listened to us, understood the unusual vision and mood my wife and I were after, and then ran with it. She jumped in not just as an order-taker but as a true collaborator, applying her creativity to our ideas and helping us develop them, and responding receptively to our feedback. It was so fun and exciting to see one of our vendors really “get it,” and so helpful to have her as a creative partner in making our weird thing come to life.
Our venue is open to the public during the day, leaving Brittany and her staff only two hours to set up before our wedding. But Brittany didn’t even seem stressed out as she managed an entire team of people brought on for our event. She guided expert set-up of candles, runners sewn by the mother of the bride, huge ceremony urns, a staircase installation, and best of all, a dozen intricately customized tablescapes with unique props and the most amazing, vibrant, centerpieces we have ever seen. This is one of our favorite memories of the day: seeing the space begin to transform at the hands of Brittany and her staff, and feeling the unknowns of how our vision would pan out giving way to immense joy and excitement that not only was it going to work, it was going to be incredibly, incredibly beautiful.
Throughout the wedding, and in the weeks after, the most common remark from our guests was how amazing a job our florist had done. We say this not to brag, but to credit Brittany: multiple guests told us they were the best flowers they had ever seen at a wedding, and they weren’t just saying it because we were the bride and groom.
It’s no exaggeration to say that Brittany’s work made our wedding vision real....
Read moreI just got married this past Sunday at Rule of Thirds in Brooklyn and all I can say is WOW. I was completely blown away by Brittany and Grace + Grit Flowers. Brooklyn was a destination wedding for us, as we are Florida based, so I contracted with Brittany/Grace+Grit remotely - never having met. All correspondence was via email and on the phone. I hired Brittany for drop off florals - my venue/aesthetic/budget did not call for full service floral design. I only needed bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements. From the start, I loved Brittany's professionalism and kind, easy going personality. It was so easy to put my trust in her. All I had to do was speak with Brittany about my desired aesthetic and share my pinterest inspiration board, and boom - she took it and ran. I had a drop off service (Brittany dropped off the pre-arranged florals and my hired planner set them) and it was easy and seamless. Brittany also graciously agreed to drop off my personals to my hotel (get ready spot) first before heading to the venue to drop off the rest of the florals. While the process was smooth and Brittany was a pleasure to work with, the florals absolutely blew me away. They were STUNNING and perfect - it's like Brittany took a walk through my brain and created the vision I always dreamt of. I did not have any specific floral requests, I just shared the vibe I was going for and the color palette, allowing Grace + Grit to choose florals based on their recommendations and what was in season. The florals that were used were dreamy, the composition was classy yet organic and natural, and they were super fresh and held up well for days after the wedding. The flowers they chose were high quality and looked expensive, but I found the pricing to be fair and competitive. I am so glad I hired Grace + Grit flowers for our wedding day and I will forever remain obsessed with the outcome. They were beautiful in every way. I only wish I could keep...
Read moreBrittany at Grace & Grit is an absolute magician. From the moment we shared our vision with her, she completely understood what we were hoping to achieve — even though it was something she had never done before — and then took it to a whole new level. Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to interpret our ideas were truly incredible.
We went with a whimsical garden theme, focusing on purples, yellows, whites, and lush greenery. Instead of roses, we chose tulips — perfect for an NYC April wedding — and Brittany made every element feel intentional, elegant, and cohesive. From the tablescapes to the backdrop, every floral arrangement was thoughtfully designed, balanced, and utterly stunning. When we first stepped into the venue and saw her work in person, I completely lost it — the florals were so breathtaking, they truly took our breath away.
Beyond just the visuals, Brittany’s dedication and professionalism made the entire process a joy. She was patient with our questions, responsive to our ideas, and so committed to making our vision a reality. She went above and beyond in ways we didn’t even anticipate, ensuring that every arrangement, centerpiece, and floral accent added meaning and magic to our day. The florals weren’t just decorations — they were a vital part of the atmosphere and emotion of the wedding, making everything feel complete and unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a florist who is imaginative, meticulous, and genuinely cares about bringing your vision to life, Brittany at Grace & Grit is the one to choose. She took our concept — something bold, unique, and a little out of the ordinary — and turned it into a reality that exceeded all expectations. The florals she created are not just beautiful; they’re pieces of art that we will remember and...
