Stuart Cinema & Cafe — Local services in New York

If I could give 10 stars I would(but Google is only 5 lol) !!!Went to see The Super Mario Movie on Wednesday night and decided to stop by to see about getting tickets the day before. I met Jaime at the front desk and he was super friendly from the minute I walked in and answered all my questions.

Wednesday night my group came to see the movie and Jaime remember us. He showed us the selection of all the delicious treats they have (blue velvet cupcake and cheddar popcorn seasoning for your popcorn 10 out of 10 stars !) and was super friendly and professional.

The movie theaters is so cozy and beautiful it is a real community vibe and the seats were comfy. There was a hiccup when the screen glitched at one point of the movie and the staff was super attentive and resolved so quickly. Mid way through the movie Jamie comes into the theater and gives out complimentary popcorn and waters to all of the audience. We received complimentary passes at the end of the viewing of the movie.

Overall great vibe of this theater, fun atmosphere super chill, clean and friendly. I have wanted to watch a movie here before and stopped by a while ago and the staff was super friendly then as well answering my questions. I am glad we came out to this spot and will be coming back and shout out to Jaime for being super informative and kind vibes! 10...

I just had to come back to write a review! This is hands down the best viewing experience I've had in NYC, I had the pleasure of viewing the screening of Love, Brooklyn, I was late and waiting for my date to arrive, and a wonderful staff member gave me some background on it being owned by the amazing Emelyn Stuart, it's founding and story, and lore behind how he's had the pleasure of even getting to work there, and it made me certain I was returning before I even got to the main entrance. The small theater made it so it felt like watching a movie among friends, there was a comfort and warmth that was felt, it wasn't as if we were viewing a movie but instead sharing a storytelling experience together with strangers. The menu is perfection and I can't wait to return on time so i don't miss out on the empanadas. I traveled far from the bronx during severe thunderstorms (3 train transfers, whew.) I was hoping the experience would be worth it and didn't know i would be in for such a treat truly. 10/10 Experience I would recommend to anyone especially agoraphobic and socially anxious people it was a safe...

I can’t recommend the Stuart Cinema highly enough! I rented it out to propose to my girlfriend — under the guise of it being a birthday party. Everyone who worked there was extremely professional and totally helped me pull of the surprise, making one of the most special memories I have.

We had ~40 guests all of whom had a blast. The staff made it such an easy experience as the host. They helped me make sure everything would go smoothly. Food and drinks were fantastic.

Lamont and JJ specifically made the experience so good that I will definitely be hosting another event here. So nice and good at what they do. I have had an overwhelming amount of positive feedback from all our guests about Lamont and JJ.

I really can’t wait to have another reason to rent out the space! Thank you Lamont, JJ, and Stuart Cinema!!!
