I have had the privilege of knowing Jennifer Martinez in two capacities – both professionally, in her role as Director of Operations for Heritage Health Care, and personally, as a patient. In both contexts, Jennifer has consistently demonstrated the qualities one would hope for in a healthcare leader, especially when seeking care.
Jennifer is grounded in strong work ethics, exceptionally sharp, and unwaveringly fair. She goes above and beyond for patients, and I’ve witnessed this firsthand during my tenure as Senior Director of Human Resources at Heritage. In moments of tension between a patient and a physician, Jennifer would step in immediately, address concerns with empathy, and ensure the patient received the highest quality care. That is her superpower.
Operationally, Jennifer has the rare ability to see the big picture while translating strategy into effective, actionable plans. She builds trust with both clinical and non-clinical staff, coaches managers, fosters collaboration, and addresses performance matters swiftly yet constructively. She approaches every operational decision through the lens of the patient experience, balancing efficiency with genuine care.
Her adaptability is unmatched, whether navigating emergencies like staffing shortages or high-pressure situations, she makes clear, confident decisions that keep both patient care and staff support at the forefront. She embodies Heritage Health Care’s mission, demonstrating cultural competence and a deep commitment to the diverse community she serves.
Even as a patient myself, Jennifer ensures I receive the care I need and follows up to confirm that my experience matches the highest standards. That level of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about who she is as a leader and a person.
Her leadership, compassion, and operational excellence make Jennifer Martinez an invaluable asset to Heritage Health Care and a trusted advocate for every...
Read morePLEASE DONT GO HERE!!! AVOID DR. OLGA AT ALL COST! Dr.Olga is one of the most disrespectful people I have ever met. After waiting over 2 hours for my appointment they told me that “that’s the kind of service you receive when you have government assistance” earlier this week before making my appointment I asked the nurse if I had to see “Dr.Olga” since I was out of medicine and asked if they could just let olga know to please treat me with respect. The office then decided to schedule me for a later appointment because she “couldn’t do that” so I literally had to wait longer to get medicine that I need for my health because the staff doesn’t believe Dr.Olga can be professional. Everytime I’ve mentioned Dr.Olga being nasty and rude and disrespectful the staff at the clinic laughs and says “yeah that sounds right”. Besides from the horrendous experience that is the negligent unprofessional Dr.Olga themselves the office also does not function accordingly. I have been late to work several times due to the office not running just a few minutes behind but literally running HOURS behind on scheduled appointments and they’ve shown no sense of sympathy or professionalism to try and make the appointments run smoother so that this doesn’t happen. It’s a constant occurrence. The front desk staff is amazing and I feel horrible that they are left to deal with the upset patients but unfortunately due to the negligence of the medical professionals here and the discourse taking place at the office that’s the situation at hand. Please do anything else in your power to find a medical professional. It’s actually detrimental to your health to continue getting your medical needs met at this location because your medical necessities will not be taken seriously here. I hope this helps anyone else avoid this facility and try a...
Read moreThis is a scathing review of a terribly inept facility. Listen to the other reviews listed here as this is no joke. I would never recommend this place to anyone, particularly if you have a chronic condition and need to be seen, or if you have a daytime job and need to stay on schedule. The doctors here make you wait two hours past your appointment time. Perhaps they are overworked, but that does not account for lack of bedside manner. They act as though every patient is dumb and poor and therefore, there is a lack of seeing people and truly hearing them. Oh, I simply asked for the bathroom, and this male doctor barely looked at me and just pointed to the other end of the hall. It’s been a year and half and they have yet to send my medical records to my new provider! My new doctor has asked twice. Seriously, how is this place still running? Money that’s why, and some people not knowing what a truly good health care facility looks like. Good luck transferring your paperwork if you are already with them. Sadly, this facility gives medical practice and taking care of people a bad rap. They are a typical example of what’s going wrong with healthcare today. Don’t let a facility treat you like you’re stupid and hold them accountable for...
