Such a welcome addition to the neighborhood! Over the course of the pandemic, this block has been getting progressively sadder and more run down. This chic little Cafe/shop, owned by a Harlem native (who i chatted with on my first visit s few days ago), brightens up the street. Really cute branding, just in bed of a more noticable sign from the outside, which I'm sure is forthcoming. I've been three times in three days, I'm just so happy you've moved in! Lattes are great, pastries beautiful, and the products for sale are lovely. We bought everything we could justify this morning just to support the new addition to Hamilton Heights. Hooray for the Oma! Welcome welcome!

Tasty and beautiful place! I had Lavender tea, it was warm and tasty. The shop is beautiful, cozy and warm. The owners was warm, nice, beautiful especially their daughter. I went in the shop to buy coffee and left with tea and it was a good choice. The owner is so easy to talk to and it wasn’t force. It felt so nice that I went back to my car and brought my daughter to play with there daughter. I will make sure to come back and drive the distance from the bronx!

It’s rare to look into a storefront and immediately recognize how much care and attentiveness went into the details. From the Venetian plaster to the hint of lavender in the London Fog (you’ll be back for it!), the warm croissant-like caramelized texture of the Morning Roll, or the gorgeous ceramic home goods — Oma calms, energizes, and inspires in equal measure. Thank you!!!

The new Oma shop location on 146th and Frederick Douglas service is very bad. I’m not sure if the girl who is working behind the register is racist or just very bad at customer service, whenever I go there she gives me dirty looks and don’t even say hi, thank you, goodbye. But I saw her communicating with black customers and she is totally different with them, laughing, talking, making conversation and saying thank you and all the basic customer service things. The owner is very nice, however this girl who works behind the register is absolutely rude and racist towards asian people and white people. I will not going to be going there anymore. And anyone who is asian or white, do not go there unless you want to get dirty looks and bad customer...

Extremely hit or miss depending on the coffee being brewed and the person behind the bar. I had a stellar 5 star experience when the shop had some great coffee being ground/brewed, and the staff was welcoming. I also had a 0 star visit when the barista couldn't care less about me being there. Without exaggerating, she didn't utter a single word to me when I entered, ordered, paid, grabbed my drink, and left. A truly baffling experience that didn't make me feel welcome as a customer. I probably wouldn't return if I see she's behind the bar. Beautiful...
