If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would! As a person that always gets eyelash extensions and was looking for a place closer to home, I made the worst decision by coming here to do so. The lash tech presented herself as a certified lash tech that has done lashes for several years. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asked several times if this was possible to do and was given a confident yes in response. I wanted Mink lashes as that is what I always wear and it works perfect with my natural lashes. I ended up staying at the salon for 5 HOURS because my left eye was almost as solid as a rock from all the glue that was used for the extensions. I knew in that moment that I had made a big mistake.! I had a special event to attend that upcoming weekend and I couldn’t get my regular lash tech to squeeze me in as she was fully booked so I agreed to allow the lash tech to redo my left eye. The second time around, she didn’t use as much glue but my lashes were COMPLETELY OPPOSITE of what I wanted and showed in the picture before the eyelash extensions were applied. At best, this was a mini classic set and what I had showed the tech was a volume cat eye set. I was disappointed to say the least but I tried my best to be optimistic and chuck the experience up to, “I should have NEVER cheated on my eyelash tech”, who I’ve been going to for 5 years by the way! I paid $158 dollars for something I absolutely hated. Mind you, before they redid my left eye, they were offering me a discount if I kept the lashes the way they were and I told them, “I can’t leave all this glue in my eyelashes, I will lose my natural lashes for sure”!! I was overtly pressured to tip the tech $25 as that was stated to be a mandatory service fee on top of whatever the service cost is. I stated, without hesitation, that I will not tip for something I absolutely do not like! I will pay for the service as it was rendered but I will not tip for a service that I am extremely unhappy with. I never wanted or anticipated to spend 5 hours at a place of service because of a mistake made by the tech/employee of the establishment. It would be the complete opposite of what a tip truly stands for! When I reached home, I did my normal routine of caring for my eyelash extensions. I didn’t wash them until 24 hours after the application. I brushed them as best I could as the glue was still very prominent however, within 48 hours, 2 days later, almost half of my lash extensions had came out! I went to the salon immediately and was completely dismissed. I was told that they had redone them and that there was nothing more they could do. They refused any possible alternative solutions for such a horrible experience/outcome and did not care that half the lashes were gone, just 2 days after having them applied. I reached out to the salon owner, Matthew and was promised an investigation and a resolution. All I got was ignored text messages and phone calls. I normally never rate or make public complaints but feeling as robbed as I did and truly mistreated, I would hope to help anyone else from experiencing this type of treatment or service as well. Read moreI came to this place trying to support the community since it’s a new place. As soon as I sat down, I saw someone complaining about the service, but I ignored it and continued with my pedicure. Then, someone brought me a price list, and I told them I just wanted a regular pedicure. The staff member gave me attitude, but I remained calm.
She then asked if I wanted to remove the dead skin for $15. I said it was too expensive and declined. When I showed her a photo of my feet, asking about one side, she said that was part of the $15 service. She wanted me to touch the area, but I refused because she should take care of it without my help.
With attitude, she said it was time for my manicure. I told her I didn’t want my manicure to be like my pedicure because I wasn’t satisfied. Again, she gave me attitude, so I said it was better if I left without the manicure. She continued with the attitude. The manager came, and I explained the situation. The manager said if I paid the $15, they could remove the dead skin, but I refused.
When I went to pay, the same lady added a tip to my receipt. I told her I couldn’t tip for such poor service. I paid $40, although the service was $33, and she threw the money back at me. I sighed and said, “Wow, what service,” and left.
I do not recommend coming to this place to avoid the bad...
Read moreFirst of all, I want to say is that the older gentleman that does nails is a sweetheart and thats why I gave these stars. I always forget his name but hes very polite, warm hearted and does a fantastic job. But..m This place can get pricey but I disregarded it at first. Previously they never included a tip and asked ALWAYS asked I wanted to include a tip, in which I ALWAYS gave a generous tip. The last time I went... as I was cashing out the lady added the tip without asking ... which was strange because I only got a pedicure. This left a terrible taste in my mouth and havent been back since. It was as if she didnt think that I would tip so she automatically put it in. Even though this salon is affiliated with the Paradise Nails that used to be by the 7 eleven (which i went to for years and the one in the mall)... i think its shameful how you can come into our community with these practices. The visit prior to my last visit I was constantly asked if I wanted treatments in which I said NO. I was on my lunch break and couldn't stay for long. After the 5th time I said no the vibe went real dark. Rolling of eyes, staring and mumbling under her breath. I should've never came back after that but I took it like a champ and even paid her a generous tip... she...
