Taqueria Lupita — Restaurant in New York

Working nearby on one of my sites, this is the go to spot from the region. The main street which the restaurant resides on is quite busy and sports quite a bit of competition. This seems to be a family owned joint, small in size with about four tables of sitting space. The place is always kept clean although it does not scream modern. The food... oh my lord. Vegetable Burrito is my favorite! Legitimate cultural recipes. The portions are big, with the menu being just as large filling up an A4 size laminated paper with small print on both front and back sides. Including the typical loadout of drinks, these guys are equipped with massive half liter glass bottles of Coke, Pepsi and other similar brands. These bottles are imported from South America. I haven't seen them that big here. Soft drinks taste best out of those OG glass bottles.

Unfortunately, the order placed was messed up. In efforts to fix the order we called and asked for adjustments. The individual in the phone was extremely nasty and inconsiderate. My coworker went personally to request a refund as the food was not to our desire. The individual then indicated they processed the refund, but now it has been 3 days and I have not received a penny back. Not only was this an inconvenience on time but financially. People struggle to work and be able to eat when we spend 50+ dollars on food we expect it to be made to our request not to what the restaurant believes is ok. Really good food but lousy service when ordering online, if an item ordered is out of stock they will replace item with something else you may not want or even like, It has been done to me 3 times and Im fed up with calling them complaining......4/19/19 this is an update of my previous review, as before stated, their food is really good and now their online service is even better, now they call their customers to inform them of an item out of stock, such as a desert like Tres Leches, they will ask to replace with another item of your choice....now that the service has improved greatly, I totally recommend this...
