J&B West Indian Grocery — Local services in New York

I went to buy cane juice & the man that operate the cane juice mill to extract the juice seems very disturbed he had to do his job. I paid $7 per cup but each cups, he filled them three quarter.

My dad usually shopped at Liberty Ave & I asked him to buy the juice for me but he refused stating the cane juice man is rude & problematic & he wouldn’t like to go back there. So I went my self thinking it would be different but it’s not. It’s disturbing dealing with this kind of behavior.

I came home, told my dad about my experience, he said exactly I told you. Dad also said one of his friends stated he went there too to buy coconuts & the man seems cheating & looking for a side raise. He told the man he will not go back there…the man told him he don’t care.

It’s disgusting for customers having to deal with vendors that are cheating not polite. Poor customer service!!! Hope they find somebody nicer but I doubt I would ever...

I went to purchase Tussadryl. I specifically asked the lady to check the date and if it was opened/tampered with. She was quick to say No and put it in the bag. As a consumer, I trusted her word, paid for my stuff, and left. I got home and opened the box to find 2 of the bottle's seals were broken and were filled with a water-down substance that wasn’t Tussadryl and it had a gas that was exposed when opening the top. I paid $25 for each bottle. It’s disgusting and shameful that this establishment is still open for business. Selling open medicines of that sort should be illegal. I will be taking this further for the sake of my family's health being put at risk cause they wanted money in their pocket. We all work hard for our money. In Guyana, a bottle of Tussadryl costs $1,200 GYD which is equivalent to $5 USD. The price...

So I came to this store a few minute ago and was picking up some ochra she angry yell at me and said I cannot check it to see if it's good I just have to take it n pay n leave .everytime I comes to this store she is always nasty.she is the younger lady like mid 50 to 60byears old.nonwonder all their vegetables is no good.with that attitude they need to close down cause at the end of the day without customer they won't have business. But I will complain to better buisness.wow nasty...
