Terminal 5 is a very large multi spoked facility so be prepared for a long walk to baggage claim depending on what gate you come to. I flew in from home on Hawaiian Air and the gate they use in Terminal 5 is furthest from baggage claim. The Terminal was packed with wall to wall people, so walking was very difficult due to.people standing in the hallways. Gate areas are not sufficient in size to house a full flight of passengers. It's a very institutional cold feeling Terminal. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Positive thing is there are a ton of bathrooms with a decent number of stalls. Airports like ORD are substandard in this area, so it's nice that Terminal 5 excels in this area. Traffic at arrivals was terrible. Took 30 minutes to get out of the airport. No port authority police anywhere to be found to handle traffic issues. Mismanaged...

Read moreI have to say I love Terminal 5. The birds kept me entertained after our flight was delayed. Swooping down for scraps, drinking water from the water fountains and pooing on the televisions! What more could I ask for?!
The terminal is clean (minus the bird droppings) ample seating is available and the staff are nice.
The security queues are crazy! Doesn’t help with the TSA barking orders to everyone and getting huffy when the passengers are disoriented or flustered. Maybe if you learnt to be calm and polite the passengers would mirror that.
The TSA Agents don’t have a chip on their shoulder. It’s more of a crater. Extremely rude. It doesn’t cost to be nice guys. Maybe you should try...
