My fiancé first found Mike through Instagram and Youtube and instantly fell in love with his flawless jaw dropping diamonds. She has been following his Instagram and Youtube accounts obsessively for over a year. My fiancé is very fussy and particular and she would only have Mike Nekta’s diamonds and designs.

We are based in Australia and I can assure you there is no way you will find anything close to Mike Nekta’s jewellery. We first made contact with Mike via email and he responded quickly to our request. We phoned him from Australia and discussed our request for a wedding band- more of a diamond eternity band style. Mike was extremely professional, knowledgable and patient. We knew nothing about buying a diamond ring from the USA and having it shipped to Australia but we knew we wanted Mike as our jeweller and he made us feel happy and comfortable. You have his complete attention and although he is always very busy, somehow he never keeps you waiting. Communication was outstandingly excellent especially considering we are communicating from Australia on different timezones. Mike would send progress updates and emails whilst he was hand crafting my fiancé ’s beautiful ring. He even sent through a video whilst in the making of the custom beauty. Mike kept contact throughout the entire process (even after we had received it). When the ring was completed he finalised all shipping paperwork and requirements and made specific notations to ensure we could apply for concessional rate of duty as per the Australian - US Free Trade Agreement (AUSFTA). Mike then sent through the tracking number. The parcel soon arrived to Australian customs and the shipping company Fedex made contact with me to please pay the GST only. Mike made the whole process very simple. He is very fair, genuine and professional and he really helped me hold onto that 5% duty which saved me money and was much appreciated. One day later we received the BEAUTIFUL ring. The best part.

"After 8 years with my girlfriend, I felt it was time to pop the question. Nervously and secretly I did my diamond research, found out her size, and narrowed down the styles she liked (she had no clue). I bought my train ticket and headed straight to The Diamond District in NYC. I walked all the way to the DD to calm my nerves and gather my thoughts. I stopped by a nice Irish pub for a burger and a few beers to help. Suddenly, while walking to a shop I was referred to from a close friend, I literally bumped right into the owner of my barber shop in Long Island *(Shout out to Roman's Barber Shop). I made sure to check out a couple other stores on the block because it was my first time ring shopping and I was still skeptical of salesmen. I experienced that most other salesmen didn’t want to mention laser enhancements until I brought it up. I just didn’t feel comfortable anywhere else other than Leon. Richie was very patient with me while helping me pick out the perfect stone and setting. Finally, it was complete. The ring was top quality and the price was worked out reasonably. I found Leon Diamonds on Instagram and made an appointment with Avi. We were in NYC for a few days and were engagement ring shopping. We went to 5 different jewelry locations (many being the top rated jewelry stores in NYC for engagement rings). While many of the rings were beautiful, none were quite like the selection that Leon Diamonds had. As soon as we walked in for our appointment Avi greeted us and took us upstairs to the VIP room where he had curated a ring selection inspired by the designs I had sent him on Instagram prior to the appointment.

He walked us through each ring and gave more information and details than any of the other jewelers we had gone to. He was transparent and even made sure that I tried on the two rings I was trying to decide between in both natural sunlight and the shade. While in the store my boyfriend and I quickly agreed that this was were we wanted to purchase our engagement ring. Avi made us feel comfortable and welcome. He showed us this beautiful 5 stone oval ring, that was part of their new collection. I decided on that ring and he was able to size it within two hours, and send me home with it! Fantastic customer service and overall a great experience.
