Terrible Experience – Dishonest Business Practices
If I could give zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst shopping experience I’ve had in New York. This store is a complete scam, and I strongly advise everyone to stay away.
We asked if there was any discount for purchasing multiple hats, and the employee told us we would get 20% off if we bought three or more. Encouraged by this offer, we purchased three hats and paid for two customizations, totaling over $130. Everything seemed fine until another employee suddenly came over and demanded an additional $11, claiming that in order to receive the discounts we had already been given, we had to sign up for a Premium Membership—something we had never been told about.
This is completely unacceptable for multiple reasons: Bait-and-switch tactics – They promised us a discount, let us pay, gave us the receipt, and only afterward did they demand more money. Lack of transparency – Nowhere was it mentioned that a “membership” was required for the discount. No accountability – Instead of owning up to their mistake, they blamed it on the employee (who also claimed to be the store manager!) and refused to honor the original deal.
At the very least, they should have taken responsibility for their own error instead of forcing us to pay extra after we had already completed our purchase. A legitimate business would have either honored the discount as promised or offered some sort of compensation, such as a free customization. Instead, they just tricked us into spending more money and acted like we had no choice.
If this happened in Italy, authorities would have stepped in immediately to shut down this kind of scam. This store should not be allowed to operate with such dishonest and unethical business practices. Save yourself the frustration—do...

After that she didn't back too me, after I told her the "212" hat she started helping other people after that. No i am sorry, we don't have it just ignored me. I walked out with 2 hats I found myself and walked up too the register and an employee was camped out by one of the register's (wiping his head and face down) then yelled at me, telling he's over there 👉🏽 the person that was suppose too be at the register but was just day dreaming off too the side like oh yeah I am suppose too be doing my job. Paid and left ASAP. Need better customer service especially in a tourist heavy area. I purchased a hat and paid for the embroidery to be done , the guy that helped me told me I had to wait 20 minutes so they can insert and clean the stitching on the hat so I paid for the hat and left at 8:30 , told the manager i will be back in 30 minutes . When i went back to the store one of the employees by the embriodery machine told me that They need more time and to come back before they close at 10 so I said okay cool I will wait longer. I gave them a full hour to finish the hat . When I finally came back at 9:30 pm the excuse they gave me was that “The Embriodery Machine Messed up the Hat and that they dont have another size to try and make it again “ I was offered a refund and not even offered another hat or anything , then while trying to give me a refund the manager is talking to other customers and not focusing on the problem at hand , the man didnt even offer me a receipt , I had to ask for one .
