Lindower Park Mini Pool — Local services in New York

A surprisingly great mini pool. Depth is about 3 feet iirc. Staff keep it clean and orderly. NYC public pools have many strict rules including no floaties/puddle jumpers and white tshirts only on top of swimsuit if you are covering up. Since it is a small pool it can fill up but staff are good at keeping order and helping everyone take a turn. They take a break around 2 or 3 to clean the pool and when they resume it tends to be busier so I recommend the earlier...

Came here with my husband and our 1 year old daughter and was told only 1 of us could go in the pool with her at a time. They said this is the rule for the mini pools. This rule is not on the parks department website for any of the mini pools. We came to enjoy the day with our child in a smaller safe pool away from the wild big kids, not to watch each other take turns. We left extremely upset. I have contacted the parks department.
