Lisa Nail Salon Inc — Local services in New York

Tried this place since I was somewhat in a rush and just wanted to get what I needed done. The girls are nice in here. Place seems somewhat empty. After today's experience I wont be going back. Went to get a new set of tips and pedicure. The pedicure was great and very relaxing aside from the water and towel being a bit too hot. Lisa did my nails and wasnt and much of a conversationalist, but could be because she literally stopped 2x to make phone calls on her cell. 1st time for a good 5 mins scrolling up and down her contacts figuring who to call. 2nd time sane thing and preceded to have a full on convo with this person. She was so rough on my nails when buffing that my cuticles still burned. I showed her a design I wanted (which i didnt mind paying extra for) and she somewhat scuffed because I had to keep showing her the picture since she had no idea how to do it. I would have been ok with not doing it she had said so. Seemed like she was more annoyed that she had to stop her convo to ask me to unlock my phone again so she can look at the design for the umpteenth time. I can see why there wasnt many customers. Place needs some redecorating or some life brought into it and someone more gentle and friendlier that liss herself. Though it took over 2 hrs from start to finish, I'm happy with the outcome which is the reason for the 3 stars. But my fingers on my right hand still burn, dont think I'll be...

I’ve been going to this salon to go get my eyebrows done for over 6 years. I haven’t gone for a year cuz of covid but within the last 2-3 years I noticed I had to wait longer. I think it was Lisa but don’t wanna place blame on someone without fully knowing who it was, but she would have me go the room and wait for a while cuz she would be on the phone. Having a full conversation while waxing my eyebrows and each time she would be a bit more aggressive while waxing them. She would also always comment on my eyebrows saying theirs “to much hair”. I get that might make it harder but I can’t just go and spend $7 on my eyebrows every time one hair comes in. The other workers are more gentle. The only reason I kept going is cuz they knew me and I only get my eyebrows cleaned up. I don’t have them thinned out...

I read some of these reviews and they sound crazy! I have been going to these ladies for years and always have been professional and kind. They are a bit pricey BUT you get what you pay for. Always an excellent set of nails, whatever it is you ask for. And pedicures are never rushed and they always give the nice massage. It is a quiet spot and extremely clean. Trust me this place...
