I dont think ill even bother coming back to this chain store anymore. I was told if I bought something online and its barely used they give an exception for a return. I did clarify i bought it online and used the item barely and was given a exchange only and its within 30 days. Honestly I had multiple bad experiences in this location that they make their own rules. Other mac macys are not that difficult. This one has given me so much issues im not returning. First, experience they told me I had to buy 4 products to recieve a makeup service. If I wanted to buy a lash that has to be the 5th item its not a 4th item. Called up another mac macys about makeup service they said spend $90 minimum and recieve the service. Lashes are included and if I buy 3 equaling to $90 I still recieve the service. So instead of $90 purchase they want me to spend at least $110 averaging for a makeup service. They reword their price just to make more money. 2nd their return policy they're so stingy they wont bother giving you a refund if its slightly used and bought online. They seem to not run under Macy's return policy in a way but make their own rules. Im so done with this location. They given me the most headaches compared to other mac macys. Im better off going to Menlo park seeing Christina or cherry hill to see nick and jazz. On top of that one time I went there and there was no associate at the counter. One of then saw me but didnt bother stepping up because she was still on break. Not only was I there but many other customers showed up. Taking a break I understand but leaving the counter with no associate to cover. This location is by far worst and the rudest. Im done with them. Read moreI’ll only come to this store if I don’t need help from any of the MUA. associate ID 10976182 has “helped” me on two separate occasions and both times she was instantly annoyed that she had to ring me up. (I was the customer!) She’s unfriendly, unhelpful and never offers suggestions when I’m looking for a new product. The other women are more friendly but again, everyone here acts like the customers are interrupting their day.
I take my business to Menlo where Bella is absolutely a doll and even offered to color match me by applying foundations on my face. I could barely get anyone to assist in the Staten Island location because they gave up after 2/3 shades didn’t match - on multiple occasions
