Venturing into the Staten Island Mall for a culinary experience, I opted for Thai cuisine at this eatery. Breaking my norm of avoiding mall food, I ordered the shrimp dish with high hopes. The initial bite unveiled a glaring error – the overpowering sweetness. Despite my plea for extra spice, the dish leaned heavily on saccharine notes, morphing into an unintended dessert. Even the extra hot sauce failed to rescue the flavor. Observing the lackadaisical kitchen staff amidst a bustling mall raised questions about the commitment to culinary excellence. Regrettably, the surrounding packed eateries only accentuated this establishment's underwhelming performance. A plea to elevate culinary skills or face an inevitable closure resonates, as patrons deserve a better return on their hard-earned money. A disappointing experience that calls for improvement or, sadly, an inevitable fate.
