Sephora — Local services in New York

So I received a USED eyebrow kit from this sephora store. Not only were the girls rude and I had to wait about 10 minutes to just pick up my order, but I received a product that upon opening it was clear that. it'd been used. This is extremely gross and unsanitary because this is an eyebrow kit meant to be used on my face. If I wanted to buy a refurbished eyebrow kit, I would do that. Paying full price for a used product and then being told that despite consistently having negative experiences at this store that I need to go in store is ridiculous. Disgusting customer service, and gross quality assurance. There were literally fingerprints and haphazard wipe marks all over my product. Buyer beware. I'm grossed out. even typing this. Not only this, if you're at the pickup desk, just go to the register in the front. Because girls will look at you and pretend they didnt see you because for some reason no one wants to deal with pickup orders. Recently went here to find a new perfume and experienced amazing customer service. Louis was the most helpful and very easy to approach . I myself have learned a lot and know a lot about perfumes . It is very rare to meet someone in the perfume department that is knowledgeable regarding tones/ scents of certain perfumes. Right away he asked which scents I usually like and what I currently wear . And within seconds he already knew what to recommend. He knew how to juggle multiple customers and was very professional . I really appreciated that he gave me a sample to take home and I’m so glad he did . The perfume he choose for me , set on me so well , I went home and bought that exact perfume . Thank you Louis for all the help . Also by the way , I bought the Kilian Adult Perfume , truly unique and hands down my favorite perfume out of the 8 others...

Coming from someone that also works retail and values customer satisfaction, the staffs at this location is by far the worst I had seen. I came in to return an item that I used twice because the product does not live up to its functionality. The staff examines it and then squeezes product out, takes it away to ask a manager and then refuses to exchange or refund it because it’s ‘too empty’... I used the item twice... once when I bought it and 2nd to give it a 2nd chance before I go back to Sephora... extremely disappointed in their service. I understand if the item shows wear and is actually used or empty, but the item is used twice... packaging and all is intacted.... after all the money I spend with Sephora as a VIB ROUGE....No surprise the rating for this store is so low...... terrible...
