I'm so disappointed leaving this review for this salon as I really thought I expected my hair done to be done the way I wanted. I started following Sasha's IG page and saw that she did amazing work so i decided to book her and sadly she she did not achieve the color i wanted which is shown in the picture below! She did give me a good layered hair cut. I'm not sure if she really listen and paid attention to what i really wanted. I believe her techniques are good and my hair came out nice for someone who wanted cool blonde hair whereas I wanted warm Carmel honey tones with a nice brown base to make everything pop. Also, I believe the assistant paid closer attention to my hair than Sasha did. I know the salon was busy since it was the 31st but Sasha was also busy seeing other clients and this is something i never experienced with other professionals. Other hairstylists dedicated 2-3 hours on my hair and this place did not do that which I believe they should if they are doing balayage, etc. I was just so disappointed that my hair did not even come close to what i wanted when Sasha originally did it. The salon booked me for another appointment since I was not happy for a toner and Mandy was the one serving me. I like that she took time to consult with me and i felt heard but once I saw my hair at home and saw the colors I couldnt believe I saw red tones in my hair! Once again, as you can see my hair is no where near what i wanted and I've had my hair like the first one in the pic below so i don't understand why my hair was not close to it! I'm so disappointed with this salon because all I see is amazing work on their IG pics but my hair shows otherwise! While i do think they are kind and friendly I think they need to work on really working with the client to achieve their desired look. Idk if I should give them a third chance but as of right now, I feel like I shouldnt go back because I'm so disappointed! I use to travel 2 hours to another stylist and I'm upset I gave this place a chance being that it's so close to my house. I have been coloring/highlighting/bleaching my very very dark brown hair forever. Frankly, it's a wonder I have any hair left on my head. The over-processing, the wrong colors, the horrible orange I am left with were the excuses of colorists saying "your hair is too dark to lift w/out ruining it"--- always leaving me frustrated disappointed and with severely damaged results. That being said, finding Mandy's was a blessing. She transformed my very dark hair into a beautiful ash blonde -- without breaking, splitting, or being over processed.

I have always striven for a stylist/colorist who concerns themselves with the needs and wants of their clients as well as what's best for the hair. I am happy to say, I have indeed found those qualities in Mandy. She is by far one unique, talented, gifted individual. She takes the time to listen and discuss options that are suitable for you as well as being creative in the process. She never rushes you, understands all of your concerns & does her best to accommodate you. She always accomplishes exactly what she says she is going to do with no surprises here.

The salon is a welcoming one. Decorated in red & grey with an open feel, it is sparkling clean & very comfortable. Her staff is extremely attentive and they are there for your every need. There is never a push to buy unnecessary products which is such a difference from other salons I had been to before.

I have not found a more competent, knowledgeable, artist around. I can not tell you enough, the respect I have for Mandy's work. My hair came out gorgeous. Silky, healthy and the color was magnificent. Not only was I ecstatic with the whole process and result, the salon itself is a pleasurable, stress free experience.

I wanted to share this honestly and respectfully. I’ve always come to Mandy’s because I truly appreciate Orian’s work — she’s talented, kind, and the reason I’ve continued to be a loyal client.

That said, I’ve noticed a pattern where my appointments are often moved — sometimes more than once — and I’ve always adjusted without complaint. I’m a doctor, and my schedule is extremely tight, but I’ve still made the effort to stay flexible out of respect for Orian and the team.

Most recently, I requested a haircut appointment for my mom and clearly mentioned I wouldn’t be available before 3 PM due to hospital hours. After calling multiple times and finally getting a call back, I was told the 3:30 slot was just booked and the only slot available was 1:30 PM — which I couldn’t do. When I asked if I could be accommodated at the time I had originally requested, I was told the other client’s appointment couldn’t be changed.

I understand that schedules can be full, but this wasn’t the first time ! I felt like I was expected to be the only one adjusting. It left me feeling that my time and loyalty weren’t valued.

Clients like me — who are consistent, loyal, and respectful — will eventually choose to go elsewhere if they’re repeatedly made to feel overlooked. I’m not saying this out of anger, but genuine disappointment.
