Save yourself the trouble of the inconvenience at this nail salon! I was a loyal customer here for MANY years (since they opened their establishment) but lately that has changed. Beautiful clean aesthetics but unfortunately, it now seems they've let their raise to fame around the neighborhood impair their common sense and customer service. Aside from the unorganized method of assigning customers to nail consultants, the moody nail consultants' behaviors are a toss up. When they want to be rude, they are and when they want to be nice, well you're lucky. I've had two negative incidents (a month apart) but the last one made my desicions to end my future visits. I selected a light nail polish which needed three coats instead of two. When I was done with my Spa Pedicure (a $55 service), I asked the nail consultant not to place the store sandals on as I had my own sandals I came in with so my nails wouldn't "mess up". She dismissed my option reassuring me her option was best even though it made zero sense. Next, she tells me she didn't add a top coat because the three coats needed to dry first, asked me to stay drying 10 minutes and THEN CALL HER OVER to add my top coat. Ok, so far I'm fine with these set of instructions. Since I always do gel polish and this was regular polish, I took her timeframe and kept it in mind. I even took a screenshot of the time as to call her over as she instructed. Once 10 minutes elapsed, I politely asked the owner to call her since he was walking by. He stated stay 5 more minutes...(now 15 minutes have elapsed) I call her again and her coworker said She's coming now after my nail consultant angrily yelled from across the nail salon saying something in her native language. Once she's half done with her new client, she approached me with an attitude, scolding because she was busy and felt I needed more time than she had originally mentioned, she messed up my toe nail as she switched sandals (which I had initially warned her about) and repainted with a horrible attitude (as if it was my fault). I said to her she should've told me to dry for 20 minutes if that was the case since she is the nail specialist who does this everyday. I spoke to the owner even though he witness how his employee embarrassed me, as if I did something wrong. He didn't even bother to apologize. I still paid for my service but decided not to tip her at all. She missed out on a $15 tip. As I always tip at either 20% or ,with exceptional service, slightly over 20% depending upon the service. This nail salon also missed out on a loyal customer going forward. Save yourself the trouble of the inconvenience at...
Read moreI went to get a gel manicure on Saturday but come Monday the nails were chipping off ( typically gel lasts minimum 2 weeks) I went back on Monday the nail tech from Saturday wasn’t there so another lady assisted me and I asked to please remove the color and re-paint with another color. The lady was forcing me to get another manicure when you can clearly see ALL I NEEDED was to re-do my color and wanted me to pay $30 for JUST COLOR change. I kindly asked to just change my color because 2 days prior I had done the full service and didn’t need to re-do a manicure. She was very angry started to yell in her language to the assistant and was insisting for me to get the full service done and wanting me to pay the full amount for just a color change! It was very disappointing as I’ve been there before and have never been treated horribly and had such a bad customer service! They should have better customer service and listen to the client and not force them to get a service they want to just...
Read moreI never write negative reviews. I made it my mission to get us as a culture away from negativity. But I feel like people should know what happens here before they go.
I came from a referral, and I'd have spoken to the manager instead, but he very literally did not care when he was doing things that physically hurt me (I said "Ow", he said "What?" I said "That hurts" He said "Little hurt" and kept going.}.
Aside from it looking dirty, it IS dirty (The manager not only used the same dirty file on me as he did another woman. he POURED THE DIRTY, USED ACETONE BACK IN THE BOTTLE DURING A PANDEMIC}. I don't think they clean anything, and there is clearly no ventilation. It smells awful.
When I got so disgusted that I wanted to wash my hands and leave, another guest had to tell me where the sink was because the manager wasn't going to. I was still charged for soaking off my nails in someone else's used acetone. During a pandemic.
Save yourself - The negative reviews are right. ...
