I came to Levitate for the first time yesterday for a customized facial. I’ve been going to Smooth as Butter’s for waxing for years (which I highly, highly recommend!) so I’ve been curious out Levitate being right next door. I’m so glad I finally made an appointment here! They appointment started as soon as I arrived, so no waiting around. My technician had actually read my client intake form and had a good idea what my concerns were before I even arrived, but still double checked all my info and made sure we were on the same page about how to proceed. She throughly checked my skin and and gave me a run down of her recommendations. It was an actual customized facial which was a first for me! Every product and treatment she suggested made sense and most importantly, nothing burned or irritated my skin. She even made sure to say that if I felt any discomfort to let her know right away. I’m used to being told that a little stinging is fine so this was a huge plus for me. What I really loved was how soothing her technique was - she had a very soft touch that was still effective and they played music that was soothing and not distracting. I signed up for the monthly membership almost a year before my wedding. I loved my experience so much that I continued the monthly membership for another year after the wedding! I would have continued forever if I didn’t just recently move away from the Ditmars area.

The new rebrand looks amazing and I wish I could be there to experience it first hand! I always looked forward to my monthly facials because it was an opportunity to truly unwind and disconnect in the middle of a crazy work week. Walking away with glowing skin was an added bonus! I highly recommend getting facials if you enjoy massages. I actually prefer facials now because you see more long term benefits and get the same experience of relaxation!

Facial not worth the price at all, honestly feel scammed and disappointed by these reviews. They do very little and mostly use gadgets to kill some time and they don’t even have a steamer to properly open up pores and properly extract. Paid 220 dollars to have the most mediocre facial ever. Experience was equivalent to a sketchy groupon purchase but highly overpriced. Also, the website indicated 40 dollars off if you booked with a specific person (Tia). I only booked because it was stated on the website and sounded like a deal, unfortunately the promotion was outdated and not taken down from site. I would have booked with someone else/somewhere else had I known. Tia was nice and she seems to be just an employee not the owner so nothing on her. Also, they require you fill out a consent form however it doesn’t work at all when they send it to you and we had to do it in person which took Tia longer to find and complete altogether. Much better high end places around the area for the same price and more services provided...
