Motion In Time — Local services in New York

EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER Motion In Time is a high end luxury store that specializes in exquisite pre-owned timepieces from every manufacturer possible. The store is a family run business that has been around for a very long time. I recently purchased the new Rolex Deepsea in18k gold from them which is a very difficult watch to source, and as a high end luxury timepiece it was way out of my price range. I just don’t have that kind of money lying around. HOWEVER, that day when I saw the watch in the window and went inside to ask questions, Boris the owner was EXTREMELY accommodating, answered all my questions even though he was super busy on the computer. I mentioned that I had a couple of other timepieces I wanted to trade and some gold, but I wasn’t sure I could come up with the total needed to buy the Rolex Deepsea 18k gold. He told me not to worry and to bring everything in that I wanted to trade and he would make it work. Two days later I brought my stuff in to trade and the process was so easy, trade in was VERY FAIR, totally effortless, and I left the store with the Rolex Deepsea 18k gold. During the trade in process I found it very easy to work with this store, and especially Boris. The rest of the staff left us alone, there were no distractions, no game playing, no interruptions while we figured out the numbers as I traded in my timepieces and some gold towards the one I wanted to buy. Boris was just HONEST, CLEAR AND TRANSPARENT, let me take my time, we shared notes so there were no misunderstandings, no miscalculations, no math errors. MOST IMPORTANTLY, and I can’t stress this enough, he made it possible for an ordinary man who works in a restaurant to walk out of a store with a very very expensive Rolex in 18k gold that is a new timepiece in Rolex’s 2024 catalogue. Even now I cannot believe that I own this watch. He did say after all that he would make it work and he did keep his word. Thank you Boris and Motion in Time - the BEST! I was reminded very recently about how much I love working with Boris and his family at Motion in Time! My wife Jennifer and I have purchased several watches from Boris over the years, and he has ALWAYS made me feel like family. My most recent visit was prompted by a proactive email from Boris that he had found and set aside a special watch for me for a special birthday......my 50th. As has been the case every time I deal with Boris, beyond being the most knowledgeable watch professional I have ever met, he was thoughtful, patient and generous. In securing this particular watch (the IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar “Double Moon” Hemisphere Moonphase 18kt Rose Gold Black Dial) Boris and the staff ran out to the local IWC boutique to secure for me the band we all agreed would look the best and they hand delivered the watch with the new band to where I was having lunch! They then took the watch I was wearing and cleaned it before shipping it back to me in Florida! In the end, I have many stories/memories like this with Boris and Motion in Time, and I look forward to creating new ones in the future. ...

What a Liar! This POS has the audacity to reply to my review with a made up story! First of all I paid $65 ( have the receipt) and not $18 and he never once mentioned anything about gaskets (I would have gladly paid for this). This further shows how much of a scammer this guy is. Stay far far away!!! Original review-Took my Breitling here to get a battery replaced and they obviously didn’t have the correct tools to open it so they just used whatever and totally scratched the back plate. Also, they never water tested it like they said they would and 1 step into the shower and the watch was toast. This watch was fine in the shower before these guys touched it.
