Future Scholars Center — Local services in New York

My son started daycare a few weeks ago and I already want to praise them for the care and attention they are giving my child. He’s not easy; doesn’t like to drink milk, picky eater and is very very stubborn (or perhaps a typical toddler), but they work with him and keep trying to help him open up to new things. He’s also never been in the care of others outside of family and has never really napped outside of the house/ a hotel and never without a sleep sack. He passed out on the first day I left him for nap.

They are very responsive and answer my questions/concerns and are willing to try what you request (if they are able to).

A testament to the good vibes here is that I brought my son for a tour and the kid legit let go of my hand and went to go play + didn’t want to leave. During a tour!

The place is spacious and very very clean/well maintained. The only downside is the outdoor play area is very small.

This daycare is very good. My daughter transfer from a Chinatown daycare to Future Scholars (FS) for about 10 months then move to IP Kids then we came back to FS for summer school again. This is a small environment, only two classes but Ms. J and Ms. S both are very good. Because this is a smaller place kids get a lot more attention. They also very good with art work, my daughter bring home amazing art work all the time. They price is also better than IPKids. After COVID, IPKids has big staff turnover almost all the teacher left. The only downside is FS doesn't have free 3K yet, something they are working on, so that is why my daughter went to IPKids in the meantime. FS definitely deserve more stars and...

My daughter studies here. The school environment is very clean. The classrooms and activity spaces are spacious, and the learning content is very rich. There is an outdoor playground inside the school. The teachers there are very enthusiastic and patient. My daughter goes home with a smile every day.
